Good luck. That's what they're made for.Alcaraz is going to demolish Novak's records.
Alcaraz is going to demolish Novak's records.
The only thing standing between Alcaraz and 30 GS trophies are other players. While we're at it, why limit him to 30? An average professional tennis career is about 15 years. At 4 GS tournamnts per year, Alcaraz can easily take home 45 trophies and leave 15 on the table to encourage others to participate, though given his competitive nature he may not even do that.Heck, let's call it 50, since this is tt.The only thing that stopped the big 3 from winning 30+ slams was each other, and Alcaraz has proven himself to be a big 3 level talent. For Alcaraz to achieve this, two factors need to be satisfied:
1. Alcaraz can maintain good health, longevity, and motivation.
2. GOAT level competition will not emerge in the next 5-10 years. I do not expect Rune will reach this level.
If the above are satisfied, Alcaraz has the potential to obliterate every important record in tennis, including total slams, weeks #1, and maybe even 14 victories at a slam.
You are wrong two times then. What you don't realize is now the careers are going on longer. The only thing standing between Alcaraz and 30 GS trophies are other players. I highly doubt young Raz will have the same longevity, and be able to sustain a top 3-5 level for 17+ years.Alcaraz is going to demolish Novak's records.
Do you honestly still believe in this BS after the underwhelmign 2nd part of the season he had and the recent rise of Sinner and maybe Rune as well on top of that?! Do you realize he will have to dominate these guys i nthe future if he has even remote chance at Novak's records?! Do you not understand how how it is?...
I love Carlos but he's not getting anywhere close to 24 slams. He's never getting close to winning all the Masters 1000's either.Alcaraz is going to demolish Novak's records.
What real.I love Carlos but he's not getting anywhere close to 24 slams. He's never getting close to winning all the Masters 1000's either.
Get real.
What real.
Raz has already won IW Miami Rogers cup, 3 HC masters. He would have won Cincy if not for choking. 4 out of 6 HC masters.
He was in SF of ATP finals at age 20 in first appearance.
And he is going to be the next KOC. He has already won Madrid 2 times and will win MC Rome maybe even next year. Even in Paris, a guy like Ferrer has won it, Alcaraz will win it too.
True, very true.Small correction, he didn't win the Rogers Cup (yet). He lost twice against Paul. 1st round in 2022, QF in 2023.
I totally agree though, I can definitely see him winning all Masters1000. Hardest ones might be Monaco and Bercy. Monaco in the wind is always difficult, he lost his only match there. As for Paris we'll see how much he can improve in Indoors conditions. Nadal never won it. Federer is an indoors specialist yet he only won it once (2011) without even facing Djokovic. It's at the end of the season in difficult conditions, so it may be the most difficult one. There is a reason why neither Federer or Nadal (or Sampras or most other ATG except Lendl) managed to snatch all 9 Masters, it's a very difficult achievement and it shouldn't be underrated. But yeah if any of the young guys can do it I'd put my money on Alcaraz.
He didn’t win rogers cup. So why didn’t Nadal win Paris then? What real.

Sinner is the real deal. I feel sorry for anyone who hasn’t been heavily invested in him. He’s going to win a bunch of big titles next seasonWe don't know what future holds for him or any other talent. If Carlos starts dominating the filed in next two years like Fed did then we shall talk.
Sinner is the real deal. I feel sorry for anyone who hasn’t been heavily invested in him. He’s going to win a bunch of big titles next season
Not sure about the record breaking part but in the long run, he’ll be beating Alcaraz left right and centreI feel the same but he needs to break his slam duck first . Once he breaks it imo he will break all records in Tennis, teeth is in for the rude awakening
Alcaraz is going to demolish Novak's records.
Still waiting for end of season 2022 FAA to dominate
Also it's amazing that the severely injury prone Sinner is somehow more durable than the younger Alcaraz.
End of the season really does a number or people, doesn't it?
Don't really care for him but I do wish him the best. His backhand is the stuff of the Gods when on song. It's Sinner's hype now
Carlos has the potential to get there imo but yours is the most sane take at this point in time.I love Carlos but he's not getting anywhere close to 24 slams. He's never getting close to winning all the Masters 1000's either.

Besides clean striking in any sport is admirable.
I didn't. Just had to balance out my critique/skepticism on the carrot kid.You missed the sarcasm ,son!
Nice video, indeed Carlos year was amazing.
I don't agree with this thinking. Without Nadal, Federer would have won 20 anyway. He would probably have won 17/18 even by 2010. And he was fit as a fiddle. The big three pushed themselves because of the competition between them. Maybe each of them do not win as many grand slams and not play as long as they did had the other 2 not existed. Just food for thought and maybe not true. Just something to think about.
Let him make a masters final first before mentioning him next to SinnerCharlie is amazing but I think that he might have a matchup problem against Janni. Rune could be one too. Shelton is dangerous for all.
Guys like Korda are more of a problem for Sinner.
Overall the Elo is great at predicting success but at the highest level specific matchups have a big impact. Rafa vs Roger on slow bouncy stuff is well known.
Let him make a masters final first before mentioning him next to Sinner
Since himself? Djokovic a complete player?Djokovic himself says he has not seen anyone as complete as Alcaraz since HIMSELF. That's very high praise.
FEDRER moved away so quickly that before hewitt safin roddick realised fedrer was ATG player. So fast was the accumulation of slams that pete sampras record was a formality and it was about how large will be the distance between sampras and roger when roger retiresTrue. The cruelty of fate can be sad. Roddick, Hewitt, Safin and Federer were supposed to be the new generation of greats leading the game into a new era but instead were all relegated to poodles of Federer, who himself was brought to heel within a few short years of topping the tennis world, ending as third to Nole and Nadal.
At least they all won a slam and spent a bit of time as #1. That in itself is more than 99% ever accomplished.
