Alcaraz HOPES to meet Djokovic in the final

Djokovic also played 3 matches in Madrid after that. Is Djokovic in a permanent state of rust?
He only played 2 but yeah sure, believe whatever you want

lets see Alcaraz beat him in a GS first before hyping him up to be some kind of GOAT

yeah, one was a walkover (Murray).
Never said Alcaraz was some kind of GOAT.
Just the most talented player born after Delpo.

When he was on a roll he was going to surpass the Big 3.

Now he can't beat the old Big 3 (2 now) and he can't even beat Sinner (?) at a slam, although he already did that en route to the title.
The simple truth is that the Big 3 after hitting their peaks, never lost a match and continued the peak forever.

Statistics say that Nadal and Djokovic in particular, never lost a Tennis match at all.

Djoko had played Monte Carlo, belgrade before Madrid. that's 8 matches before the Alcaraz match. quit with the excuses.
Also Nadal lost in USO 22 to Tiafoe. Alcaraz would've beaten him thoroughly had they faced off there.
The huge roar towards the crowd by Djokovic after squeaking out that first set tiebreaker against Carlos in Madrid showed just how much was on the line for Djokovic that day. Djokovic wanted to beat the kid really bad because of all the hype the kid was getting.

blAh blAh watch the full replay of the Madrid match. Or watch Tennis matches in general for a change. It's a lot more fun than scorecard surfing.
i watched that whole match live, unlike you

djokovic was still clearly rusty and not at his peak powers yet, and even then, he still managed to take it to 3 sets

Alcaraz was just better that day due to being match fit for a much longer period.

Carlos is even better now than he was last year when that match happened.

1. No.
2. No with a dash of "Alcaraz injured his ankle the previous day and actually missed Rome subsequently".
3. No with a sprinkling of "Djokovic with a torn hammy can win slams".
