Only players to have won wimbledon and Roland Garros the same year:
  • Rod Laver - 1969
  • Bjorn Borg - 1978, 1979, 1980
  • Rafa Nadal - 2008, 2010
  • Roger Federer - 2009
  • Novak Djokovic - 2021
  • CARLOS ALCARAZ - 2024
So It doesnt Matter if the era is weaker, stronger, whatever, these are the only ones Who have done It in history and carlos is sitting at the same table than them, It gives us an idea of the talent we're talking about and what kind of career we can expect

This does NOT fit my narrative. Dismissed.

IIRC, Alcaraz is the 9th person in the Open Era to defend a Wimbledon title and the youngest since Becker to do it.

He’s also the youngest player to win the Channel Slam.

He’s the 3rd youngest player in the Open Era to win 4 majors; trailing only Wilander and Borg.

He’s the youngest to win the career surface slam.

This dude’s accomplishments are incredible so far.

His acomplishments really transcend the era he plays in

Alcaraz serve actually reminds me a lot of Rod Laver serve. How he holds the racquet up and tension in forearm during wind up

NONSENSE! How come then, has Carlos won 2 Wimbledons already? Enough about his height as he is not much shorter than Nadal, Federer or Novak.
Rod Laver won Wimbledon 4 times and he was 5’8. Connors won and was 5’9. McEnroe also won 4 times and was 5’10. It’s how you control the spin, movement and velocity. All those guys have good slice and kick serves.

He is going to be the head of the table at this rate.
The question is really whether he can keep this level up. We've been spoiled by the Big 3 - I'd eat me hat if this guy also keeps winning into his 30's like they did. I think he's almost certainly going to be one of the game's greats (I mean, he's almost there now). But his propensity for injuries will only get worse as time rolls on, and by the looks of it I'd bet he wins his last Slam closer to 26 than 36. Mac, Wilander, Borg, all won their last Slams before they turned 26 (Becker only won one after turning 24).

That’s the high table of tennis! Raz is only 21, that’s crazy!

Alcaraz carrying a lot of muscle for his frame. And he hits with so much topspin already caused that forearm muscle injury.

The "era" issue is overcooked and leans towards dismissing past accomplishments by those who didn't have current strings, racquets, coaches, diets, exercise regimens, who trained, traveled and played in conditions relative to their time.

I have a feeling the discourse is gonna keep swinging between the "Alcaraz is Finnish, his body can't handle it anymore" extreme and the "Alcaraz is unbeatable, will win the next 20 Slams" extreme for the foreseeable future :D
