Alcaraz might lose to Tsitsipas RG24

There's a pattern in Alcaraz's slam run. Alcaraz tends to lose to oppenents that he owned in the previous match due to lack of preparation and poor preformance earlier in the match. ie: 2022 FO to Zverev; 2023 USO to Med; 2024 AO to Zverev

The two slams he got were quite tough, against odds. That's when Alcaraz plays his best tennis. And whenever you feel something is on the cards for Alcaraz, he loses it by playing too sloppy.

Nah. MedZed can outrally Alcaraz from the baseline if they’re on it + have big enough first serves to scalp free points. Alcaraz can try and bully them but in those particular matches we saw his potency drop slightly and the other two pounced and made shots.

Tsitsipas is way too easily beaten by Alcaraz’ big booming forehand. He just abuses the 1HBH and has a field day. Tsitsipas complained once that Alcaraz hits the ball too fast.

Clay is at least Tsitsipas’ surface so he could maybe close the gap slightly but Alcaraz will still beat him.

The first two sets of their RG 2023 match were misleading. Alcaraz made Tsitsipas look like a junior, and Tsitispas is not that bad. He was probably nervous and played so poor. In the third set, the Greek raised his level and it was a contested set.
