What a sad shell Nike tennis retail has become; yet another example of an extremely marketable Alcaraz colorway that fails to materialise at consumer level, leaving us with the lurid - even by my standards - orange monstrosities that neither of their top two pros wore and which, in my case, now have to be purchased with a laughably non-functional ‘clay’ sole which isn’t even available in Australia anyway.

I remember Djokovic’s outsole sanding being discussed during the AO bitd; very early on in comparison with other players he was tinkering around with ways to consistently produce an optimum frictional coefficient for sliding.
