Alcaraz is taller than McEnroe 6ft 0 vs 5ft 11. in fairness to John he may have meant Alcaraz’s relative height compared to the giants of today’s game. Having said that I don’t hear anything about how tiny Sampras, Federer and Nadal are, and they are only 1 inch taller than Alcaraz. See photo below

Fed who was 2 generations before Carlos is taller than him.
I think some worry is warranted. We are not in 70s. McEnroe can't be the measuring stick in height.

You are right. Everyone is just saying that 11/16 will not be possible but you don't even need that TBH. Djokovic never had 11/16 (pandemic removed he could), but he won 24. Carlos can dominate tennis and reach 25.
