A much more valid question imo than Nadal vs Alcaraz on grass, which Nadal clears easily thanks to higher peak and more finals

Here we have

Murray:

• 2 Wimbledon titles, 1 final
• 1 Olympic Singles Gold on grass
• 5 Queens titles
• Bunch of Wimbledon SFs
• 2012, 2013 and 2016 Wimbledon peaks
• Took reigning Wimb champ Federer to the cleaners by thrashing him in the Oly F
• 0 sets lost against prime Djokovic on centre court at Wimbledon across 2 matches

Alcaraz:

• 2 Wimbledon titles
• 2 Queens finals
• 2023, 2024 Wimbledon peaks (for now… could go higher)
• Took Djokovic to the cleaners by thrashing him in the 2024 Wimbledon final
• Broke Djokovic’s 4 title streak in 2023 epic

Right now, who is greater?

It about a tie or probably slight lean to Murray. If alcaraz wins again though in a few weeks he goes ahead. It similar to Nadal where you can argue Murray still right now but that could change in few weeks.

If we take age 18-22, Raz is better, obviously, although 2009 Murray was pretty solid and just as good if not better than 2024 Raz, but Murray played well in each year between 2009 to 2016 except for 2014, so let's see how much higher Raz can go from here. He isn't close to 2012-2013 Murray yet.
