Big 3 is definitely past. Biggest battles will be battled between Sinner and Alcaraz, unless someone other great appear.
I like when I watch sport to have some favorite to cheer for. No one will ever replace Novak for me, but I had favorite players before him and will have after him. I dont say Sinner or Alcaraz must be my overall future favorite player, but when they play I want o cheer someone.

I hadn't favorite between Sinner and Alcaraz. Furthermore, I kinda liked Sinner little more because he is kinda nice guy, silent. On the other side is Alcaraz, who is a kinda fighter, warrior, which I like too.

But, this dope thing helped me to chose... Alcaraz will be the one I will cheer when they play in the future.

I don't want this thread to be another about Sinner doping or not, if that's even possible, just want to see if there are people here that think the same or similar, will this scandal change the way they look at this matchup.

I am bored with both of them. Alcaraz looks immature and susceptible to general consensus that he must be Nadal when he should be original self.
Sinner is bland, lifeless machine with no emotions, now doper, I just can't connect to any of them sorry.

Alcaraz is more mercurial, Sinner is more boring but effective.

I think Alcaraz is generally more fun to watch, but he can also be more frustrating.

Ultimately, as a long time Armada fan, my choice is clear.

I prefer everything about Alcaraz, on a tennis level, other than the bloody grunting. It's nice that Sinner's there to prove how affected the whole thing is but Uncanny Valley boy is still difficult to connect with.

The point of this thread is if scandal contributed that you now cheer more for Alcaraz against Sinner compared to time before scandal.

I had my eye on both boys since the start of their ATP careers. Alcaraz captured my attention from the start. Yes, it can be frustrating to ride the wave of his ups and downs, but up till now it was a nice ride. Sinner...whenever he plays, I always have something more interesting to do than watch him.

Sinner is the cooler of the 2. He has less outbursts on court and handles his emotions better.

He’s not constantly bickering with his box either.

It is the thing that frustrates me with Djokovic at times too. Even being his big fan he wastes unnecessary energy losing it with his box over just a few bad points! Lol

No difference for me.

Still prefer Alcaraz. Sinner is effective but has the demeanor of a loaf of white bread. Mostly game wise tbf but personality has a role as well.

Excellent
Well, everyone have opinion on this dope scandal. Without opinion, you should skip the thread.
Point is that this thread is not here to repeat arguments, is he guilty or not… You are free to say "yes he is guilty, so I will cheer Alcaraz because of that", or "he is guilty, but I will still cheer for him, no difference", or whatever else... But, not to argument why is he guilty or not, there are other threads on this topic.

The problem with tennis is exactly this mentality. As if fans need to pick sides like it's virtual dodgeball.

10 post until Djo got mentioned, heh ;)

I want as many Sinner v Alcaraz matches as possible. But someone should start doping thread number 32 to see if that changed.

Even by the standards of this place, this post is pretty dumb. "Let's not talk about 'doping' except to talk about doping."

I meant that it's possible to talk about how you experienced the whole thing, considering Alc-Sin future battles and yours siding in that matchup. So, not talking about what happened, is he guilty or not, and similar. In that way, personally, I will cheer for Alcaraz when he plays Sinner in the future, although I liked Sinner more before the incident.

Alcaraz trying to be Nadal? What?

I don't have a horse in the race. Hopefully, they both continue to get better. I'm glad that Sinner won the USO. But I hope that Alcaraz wins the AO to get the career slam. From there, they can trade titles. But I don't want them winning all 4 titles like Fedal and Djokodal did for all of those years. I want some others to get some slam titles too.

With Djokovic declining, these two are probably going to rule tennis just like Fedal or Rafole.
Third best is Djokovic who is declining and others are not going to improve more than these two.

Sinner has as much charisma as David Ferrer. And more importantly, he’s shady AF, doesn’t congratulate his competitors when they win big and plays the possum act quite a lot. He’s like those who pass off as “nice” guys because they don’t talk much but in reality are the opposite of nice. I used to be indifferent to him owing to his sub zero charisma and personality. But after this whole doping episode, I actively dislike him.

I love Alcaraz though. What a player, what a warm personality. Always upbeat, ever so creative and childlike in the way he finds joy in tennis. Plays an irresistible style of tennis. Just wish he’d cut down on some of those ridiculous grunts. But between the two, Carlos is definitely my man.

Exactly. Thats the one thing i really don't like with Alcaraz or anyone. Idk maybe he reduced or should.

Arranging bottles, playing sleevless, biting trophy, jumping around like rabbit before stepping on the court, hope he will stop doing it because he is more complete player than Nadal
Transition: I like Alcaraz but Since i hate Nadal don't want to see any similarity on Alcaraz.
