Same here. The very few players I dislike is because of things they do on court that I consider bad sportsmanship.

I can see why some people don't like him. I'm pretty neutral myself. I can look past on-court antics and brattiness, but he does seem unlikable off-court too. I still think he's the only next gen I view as being a potential atg. Which means he's also the biggest disappointment

Used to like him when he burst on the scene, just because he was the only solid NextGenner and had insane work ethic/drive. He earned even more of my respect after USO20.

Without his serve yips, he would have won a lot already. He has the game to be an ATG if he can get over the yips, but we all know it could take years or might never go away unfortunately.

I love Shapovalov but his style is not efficient. He will never win majors if he doesn’t change his approach. Tsitsipas is a proven value, and is higher than Zverev in the rankings. However, I still believe Zverev has the higher ceiling because of his game that has no real weaknesses. He has had a difficult year and I can’t imagine that it didn’t a big toll on his mentality and game. He can only get better from here.

Given what he's achieved by beating Novak who is the best player this year winning wimb, aus and french, he clearly deserves the title.
He dealt a huge blow to Djokovic juggernaut. He's done the impossible. It was supposed to be a cakewalk for him.

Shapo is my fav for his style. Such a flamboyant player. He will learn and win wimbledon, I'm sure.
Tsitsi is a natural I agree. He will win lots.
Once Zv sorts out his mental issues with serve, he will be hard to beat.

I was very surprised too, but remember people can be very different in private vs in public.
Zverev did get mad on court, but it was always directed at himself and he often looked more depressed than angry. You can't always infer people's private lives from what they do on court.
But then later he was the least solid and could lose to anyone any day, hitting 20 double faults and tons of other errors.
And work ethic? Some of his former coaches say otherwise.
