All bent up and excited for the Legg Mason

The field is great this year and since I'am a D.C. Metro Area resident, I will definately be getting my hands on some tickets. Just some of the notables competing.

Andrey Golubev - Andy Roddick - Arnaud Clement
Benjamin Becker - Denis Istomin - Dmitry Tursunov
Dudi Sela - Ernests Gulbis - Fernando Gonzalez
Frederico Gil - Gael Monfils - Igor Andreev
Igor Kunitsyn - Ivo Karlovic - James Blake
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga - Juan Carlos Ferrero - Juan Martin Del Potro
Kevin Kim - Leonardo Mayer - Lleyton Hewitt
Marc Gicquel - Mardy Fish - Marin Cilic
Mikhail Youzhny - Paul Capdeville - Philipp Petzschner
Radek Stepanek - Rainer Schuettler - Robert Kendrick
Robin Soderling - Sam Querrey - Teimuraz Gabashvili
Tomas Berdych - Tommy Haas - Tommy Robredo
Viktor Troicki - Yen-Hsun Lu

Also, John Isner recieved a main draw wildcard and qualifying draws to Kei Nishikori and Donald Young.

I'd like to see Tommy Haas (as he is my pick to win it all ), Monfils, Tsonga, Hewitt, Del Potro and Stepanek play-- as I respect their games.

Hopefully I'll win a contest I signed up for on ESPNradio, to be an amateur side-line reporter for the local AM sports radio station-- easy, just win and quit my job. :)

Wish I was still living in that area - I've been to Legg Mason a couple of times, had a blast! Have fun!

It's a bit conservative but we have more malls per square mile than alligators in Florida. ;) Bless those air conditioned havens of consumer driven teenagers with mom's and dad's credit card. Not to mention the free museums... perfect cheap date and leaves the night free .. for uhhm.. getting to know each other.

Anyway, back to the subject-- Haas has been playing lights out, I believe he's due for a win-- especially a smaller tournament like the Legg Mason, depending on what side of the draw he's on-- I'm confident he will take the check home.

My wife and I will be up for the round of 16 and the quarters night. Cant stay thru the finals sadly but at least we will get some great tennis.. Hope Isner makes the Quarters so i can watch him play again
