Which one would you say was the most stunning?

Most stunning? Probably 2018 Cincy. 2023 Cincy wasn't too bad either. Honorable mentions to 2012 Shanghai though where he saved match points in the final and 2013 MC to complete the clay Masters set, and end Nadal's 8 in a row streak.

Yeah, beating three of the previous Cincy winners with plenty of three set thrillers along the way to finally complete the Golden Masters was really memorable.

Defeating each of the top 3 players in 2007 Montreal (Roddick, Nadal, Federer) will also be a very difficult kind of run to match.

Wasn't it just 8 in a row?

Yea have to go with Cincy 2018 as my all time favorite one; beating former champs to get the Golden Masters.

You're right about 2007 Canada though. I probably would put that one over 2012 Shanghai because of him beating the top 3 players in the world, the only time he did it because he's almost always been in the top 3 since.

Rome 2011. Djokovic had (very) narrowly defeated Nadal in the IW and Miami finals, and given how close the previous two matches on hardcourt had been, I think most people expected Nadal to win or at least an extremely close match. The level Novak produced on the clay that day was insane.
So we should act like Madrid wasn't played that year? In Rome everyone already knew Nadal was mentally done. Nobody expected him to win.

Not just the fact he beat Rafa, he took down Stan, Soderling and Murray en route to the final

Same here. He beat Murray in that 3h20 thriller in the Semifinals (the best Djokovic/Murray ever IMO)... and obliterated Nadal in the final, 15h later. And how can anyone forget his 2nd set against Söderling in the Quarter? 6-0, I think he lost 8 points and made 1 UE. Maybe his best set ever.

Cincinnati 2023 and Miami 2011 were the best 2 finals, but Rome 2011 was my favorite M1000 overall (Canada 2007 close 2nd).
