TwistServe, you don't have any problems with string breaking? Are you a flattish type hitter? Which one of these setups is the most durable?

BB ace at 61 with gosen 17 ga micro crosses. First string job (besides one from TW) and I like it. String movement modest. Good top and contol with about the right degree of power for my game with this frame. May try a few other 17-18 gauge Polys.

I play with mostly heavy spin, rarely hit the ball flat other than the serve. That's why I got the O3 Tour hehe.. SPIN IS KING!

I'd say the ALU or hybrids last the longest. Timo18 usually lasts about 5-7 hours which is a good 2-3 days of play for me.

I have some elbow issues but not from using the polys. A few months ago I changed my flat serve motion and really messed up the elbow... I have fixed the serve motion now but because the arm is still weakened, and I haven't been able to fully recover from it, the arm easily flairs up when I hit flat serves. I'm planning on taking a vacation early in 2006 so hopefully that'll give the arm one months rest.. until then I'm going to be banging away :)

Got about 4/6 hours play with TF - TR3 and was the best and longer lasting I have used so far with this racquet - strung at 59lbs.

I cannot find a string that I like for this racket. I need some MAJOR help! I got the wilson reaction, but they are too harsh for this racket. I need something that gives a nice soft feel, and really puts this bigger sweet spot to use. SOMEONE HELP PLEAS!!!!!

My son is now using Pacific Poly Spin 16L for mains @ 57lbs and Prince Synthetic Gut Duraflex 16 for crosses @ 55lbs and that seems to work for him.

Currently using Wilson Sensation 17 at 62. Good spin, comfortable string, but losses tension and moves quite a bit after 6-8 hours of play. Also, much better than Wilson Reaction 16 at 62, which I felt was too "trampoline."
