I wouldn't call it a widebody - yes, the beam is thicker than usual, but that's only because of its injection moulded construction.

^^ I would...considering the beam widths of the woods that just preceeded it and the first generation graphites, like the PK Black Ace, were 15mm.

Good job and thanks for the info.
How many times did you measure each racket?
I know some people measure it 5 times and average them out and I know the swing weight can have a huge difference from one time to the other.
The RD7 ,TW says it is 54 flex rating instead of 59 as you say. What kind of customization was done on the RD 7?
thanks

Thanks, Buckethead. :)

In my experience the difference between numbers from different measuring sessions hasn't been that big, and accordingly I haven't measured the racquets a specific number of times. If there has been a difference I have been sure to take a few readings, though, and make out an average, as you pointed out.

About the RD7, I got it from an ATP pro, but I'm not sure what the exact modifications are.

Which Pro did you get it from?I heard so many things about the RD-7 as being one of the best rackets ever made and I'd like to know why there is a big difference in the flex rating from your measurements and TW's.
Thanks

Dino, thanks for all the great info here and info/pictures in your wood racquet thread. Just wondering if the Lacoste T2000 is the same as the Wilson T2000 made famous by JimmyC and if the specs are stock? I grew up playing w/this and the Donnay Borg Pro and was hoping you might have the specs on that one also.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks, rromeo!

About the Lacoste racquet; yes on both accounts. AFAIK, Lacoste came up with the racquet design and produced it under their own name. Later Wilson either bought the design or made racquets with a license agreement, and Jimmy Connors made the frame famous as the Wilson T2000. The specs are for a stock Lacoste version.

Regarding the Donnay, I'll have to check if I've got that model. Unfortunately I haven't given my woods that much attention as of yet.

If you don't mind, could re measure the RD-7 again?

I have now remeasured the RD7. :)

The first reading was: 358/12.63/59/354

After having remeasured it 5 times I get only minute differences compared to the first reading, like +1 stiffness point and +1 gram in weight.

Thank you Dino.
It sound right then, because I bought 2 of those and didn't think the flex rating was 54 neither.but my frames are 9 HL and one has 360g and the other has 362g,the lighter is 4 3/8.But maybe He has a customized to his specs of choice, even though I didn't think it'd be 54.
