All this talk about paintjobs

All this talk about paintjobs actually did some good for me.
I play with a pro staff tour 90.
i like the raquet very much but was very dissapointed to hear that fed does not play with this model. the fact is , we dont really know what he plays.
I know that many players customize there raquest in terms of weight distribution, strings and stringtension.
example : fed plays with 25 kg and i like 27 better. but what really dissapointed me about this whole deal is that first, i was lead to believe that i purchased the same raquet as fed, it was not cheap but if the no1 is using it i thougd , it cant be bad.
second : there are thing which you can not change like the raquet flex and the stringspacing , now i am sure that the stringspacing is different on feds raquet than on the tour you can buy and if reports are correct the beamwidth is different to. so , the raquet fed plays is nothing like the one they claim it is.
So i ask myself : why does wilson deny me this wider string spacing to get more spin like fed has on his raquet ?
And that did it for me.
after all: i am the same size as fed and i wheigh just as much, i can swing the same as he can because my arm is not any thinner than his, well maybe a little. i may not have his timing or footwork but when it comes to swinging the stick, well, you get my point.
So after all this about paintjobs i reviewed all my raquets and started testing a lot of others. heads, yonex all kinds and yes the tour90 is still a massive raquet but its just one of the pack so now i got myself a new stick and it not a wilson anymore. (i tested the wilsons 95 too but the head felt better.)

well how about the Pro Staff Original 85? fedex did use it before the tour 90 paintjob... besides you can think of it as a platform racket... like what fedex used to beat Pete Sampras in Wimbledon :)
