Almagro Is Such A Big Hitter

In the Nadal match-it was amazing how hard both guys were hitting the ball. Almagro also has one of the best one handed backhands in the game. The pace at which almagro hits his bachands and forehands is very hard. he hits it flat as well which pushed nadal behind the baseline back further than i have seen in a while. I really think almagro can become a top 10 player in the world with a higher level of fitness-he can hit with anyone.

His 1st serve is powerful, but way too inconsistent to consistently hold serve against to top returners and baseliners. Hes naturally a big guy so fitness isnt an easy thing for him.

And he doesnt play well against players with lots of power. To be honest a Nadal style game matches up well for him.

this match was boring, it took 5 minutes to play 3 points and to be honest they werent that good and then they both call for the trainer, Nadal probably has an injury but Almagro called for the trainer up 5-4 in the fifith against Ginepri and i just didn't care for him

im glad Nadal won but i was hoping for it to be more of a buttkicking

Almagro certainly has what it takes to be top 20.

But he really has to improve quite a few areas if he wants to break top10. He hits the ball hard, but only when he is stationary. Move the ball around a bit and he struggles.

He does move the ball around. His backhands have rediculous cross court angles that it makes opponents guess on the depth. Thats what happened to Rafa
