Anyone have any experience with an Alpha Axis Pro stringer? I'm thinking about buying one and would like to get some feedback. Thanks for any info. Rick
I have one. It's a solid machine, though, it's the only one I've ever strung on but I've seen how other crank machines work and would pick this one over a lot of them.
Thanks, as I had an old Alpha UltraII electric. Although it was a solid machine the tensioner does not work any longer,as it will pull all the way across the shaft but WILL NOT stop!!! So again Thank You all for the info. Rick
I'm sold...the Axis Pro it is. Mark is and was EXTREMELY helpful and nice in assisting on my old stringer, and that means a lot. GOOD customer service goes a long way!!! Mine gets ordered Monday. Thanks everyone
TParker... can you tell me why the Axis Pro is so much cheaper than say the Prince NEOS 1500 and Gamma 6004? They all look very similar and seem to do the same things.
Is it lower quality parts? Less features? I couldn't really discern a huge difference that would make the Alpha almost $500 cheaper.

Not sure about the Prince 1500 but the 6004 has better clamps and clamp bases, better brake, C type side supports, a single adjustments for the side supports (or 2 point if you want,) and a self centering turntable.
EDIT: With 6004 you have a much lower crank arm so if you add a Wise later you will have plenty of clearance for 360 rotation.
