alternative natural gut to Babolat Tonic +

I am a fan of Babolat Tonic + 15L Natural gut.
Fantastic feel, durability(better than NRG2 for me).
But price is threatening me continually.
I need to search nice natural guts.
What Guts do you recommend for poor man.
Please let me know your experience. thanks

Legend
Klip legend, both coated and uncoated. I think Legend 16G is almost as thick as 15L. lower tension just a bit. Problem is it is hard to get them.

If I don't have to worry about Klip's supply issues, Klip Legend. I found Klip Legend coated plays very similar to Babolat Tonic, and it's $10 less.

Pacific stuff used to be GREAT and inexpensive. Now they have tons of quality issues and priced like Babolats.

so, let me make this first point, I AM NOT a gut user so I don't know what one would expect from a gut in terms of feel, power, control, durability, etc. Last week, a buddy gave me a pack of 16G gut which came from Natural Gut Wholesaler. It was 14 bucks a pack. I strung up a hybrid for myself, Gut Mains/YPPT crosses. Let me tell you first, my string choice is Solinco Revolution Mains/Gosen Micro Crosses.

I have been pleasantly surprised at how much I've liked the gut, I've hit with it 3 times. The power is awesome, but feel is great too. Most noticeably, my MPH has really kicked up on notch. There is a thread if you do a search for this brand. Check it out. There have been some pro's and con's. In my case the string was free, so I had nothing to lose. I just ordered 2 packs. I strung up my 14U Advanced son's racquet with gut mains and poly crosses, he's normally full poly, he loves it too. I had minimal stringing issues, feeding thru the grommet in a few places on my IG Rad Pro and my sons Prostaff 97, but not biggie with careful stringing.

about me, sorry, soon to be 51, 4.5 player with an old school game. I'm not a string breaker unless I use a full bed of syn gut or multi. I cut poly's out before I break the syn gut. With that, i'm not sure how this holds up with a big topspin hitter. But here's a pic..

Poor men buy expensive stuff, so goes the saying hence my advice: Babolat VS team full bed, but take proper care of it- pre stretch it, get it strung by someone who knows what he is doing, wax it after each hit, store it in a locker, alternate between two sticks on service changes etc.
