It all turned out tragically but I really enjoyed the secret reveal with Lana. Lex has to be GOAT here. ''He tossed it like a toy.'' Always has been Lana hate around the Smallville fans. I don't know, I could always sense jealousy or something. I dunno, it's ridiculous.

I haven't been able to make it through another since Smallville. I've started quite a few, loved a lot of characters on The Flash but gave in after season 4. Smallville kept me for 10 and I could have done with more. haha Maybe not at the time.

I know a lot of people lost interest when Lex and Lionel finished off at 7. I didn't have much love for Doomsday, I do like the actor but just never got into his storyline with Chloe or anything. Tess was a fine addition.

9 wasn't so bad. Zod was a fine villain. And we have another scene that should be in the discussion. :p

I am currently watching Arrow and I am almost at day with the show. It's pretty good IMO.

But Smallville still has the special thing that the current superhero shows lack. Can't quite put my finger on it. And Zod was an awesome villain. Much better than Doomsday of season 8 and Darkseid of season 10.

And is it just me, or is the season 9 Smallville superhero suit better looking than Superman's classic one? :p

You should give it a try. I didn't watch Smallville in my childhood only started it in 2014 and finished it in 2015. And I am still as nostalgic as ever, like I actually watched the show when I was a kid.

Not sure if you ever watched Lost but like Desmond Hume has the last book he will read before he dies smallvilles last season will be the last thing I watch lol. Now to just figure out when I’m going to die

haha Not just you. :D I had a post made out earlier going through the suits and I had that picked as the goat. Didn't get round to finishing it. LOL Seriously. That trench coat,. The whole thing just worked.

Lex is under the influence of persuasion. The first babyface freak of the week, Kyle Tippet. One of those characters that I wonder what he is doing these days. Since he didn't die or end up in Belle Reve.

I love it when Clark gives Lana a good ol rub in those spicy scenes.


Thanksgiving time. Lionel has successfully made himself part of the Kent family and only one turkey cutter is above him. (Clark) Then we go to see Lex and Lana, the most romantic free dinner I've ever seen on TV. This was very fascinating.


Lionel is the man, right? Definitely part of the discussion.

The last DVD I got for it was 2, I think. Maybe 3. Once my driving instructor introduced me to downloading that was the end of buying anything. haha He was great, led me to my driving licence and he hooked me up with Tommy T Bone and Pamela Anderson. :p And what a disappointment that was. haha I only really get the odd dvd or bluray if somebody is buying me a gift.

Pretty clear that Lex was not fighting that other side of him at this point. Fully committed to science and evil now. Kind of bittersweet because we did see him try, even though he had agenda from day 1 just because he is Lex Luthor. That scene still gets me hyped. :cool:

Transference would have to be in the hypothetical top 20. Lionel and Clark are so good playing each other. Lionel's facial expression when he is lifting up the tractor.

I could download but I want to use watch on my big tv, suppose I could go with chromecast...

And yeah Lex's journey was the most compelling part of the story, Clark on the path to being the world's greatest hero and Lex on the way to being its greatest villains - while being best friends along the way.

That moment cemented the heel turn but I really liked the foreshadowing in this one;

I can remember Spell not getting much love. I thought it was hilarious. Looking back now, season 4 had a lot of good episodes. Lex playing the piano is the highlight of the episode. He'd still be playing it now if Clark had not come in. :p
