(My apologies if this has been posted previously)
Not getting it.
Maybe you or @r2473 can explain.
Sir Francis Bacon's name is synonymous to meat or food, by that token he had to make his ever famous ''Knowledge is Power'' ideology into delicacy-like food for thought: ''Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested.''
I always enjoy playing "Six Degrees Of Kevin Bacon."
For example, can you fill in the blanks between Sean Connery and Kevin Bacon???
The Three Little Pigs. Classic bedtime story/fable in Western culture.
OP obviously hasn’t read Animal Farm.
It is BLT season
Reverse season here...summer is too hot for most of tomato growing in Florida, the nation's largest producer of my favorite fruit. Well, maybe my second favorite when I'm in TRS appreciation mood.
The other part of this is that pigs are regarded as one of the top 5 or 6 intelligent animals and, as such, not suitable for human consumption. Some would no more eat a pig than they would a dolphin, whale, chimpanzee, parrot or a dog.
This might be enough to turn @r2473 into a vegan! I'm sure the common everyday garden variety of piggy is smarter than many of his neighbors!
Separate names with a comma.
