Andrei Medvedev - and players who grew taller?

I was looking at Andrei Medvedev in Paris 1993. He would have been a little over 19 years old. He's a small guy
Fast forward to 1997, when he's 23 and presumably done growing. He must 4-6 inches taller - a tree like figure

I haven't noticed such a change in any other player, but reason it can't be all that rare. So many tennis players start of around 16 years old when they're likely to grow taller

Who are some other players that grew significantly taller during their professional playing days? Including women? - who tend to turn pro at even younger ages but stop growing at younger ages

Medvedev was never a small guy, I followed his entire career, saw him live many times, got his autograph at 1993 USO(he towered over all the fans ala Krajicek - I got both their autographs on the same day - I really should upload all the pictures I took at the USO someday). He was listed as 6'4" in the ATP player guides in '92, '93, '94. He did slouch a bit and Paris Masters had poor quality footage back then, maybe your eyes are playing tricks on you.

His debut at '92 RG at age 17 was a big deal(made 4R as a qualifier) and much was made of how big he was, his weapons etc. And his personality - he was very quotable. He was considered almost a can't miss future major winner.

Look at him shake hands with Edberg at '93 RG and Becker at '94 W, not sure how anyone would call him a small guy.

Monica Seles is the most famous one I can recall. I suppose it's slightly cheating though, since she started so young and was just going through a typical teenage growth spurt.

"In a single year Monica Seles has risen from No. 88 to No. 3-ranked women's tennis player in the world. The only thing growing faster than her reputation is her body. The current count is five consecutive tournament victories, five inches, and a whole shoe size.​

They say she is going to be six feet tall. Seles is not pleased by the idea. Her size 10 sneakers get in the way, as does the rest of her, 5 feet 9 1/2 and 118 awkward pounds that she can't seem to keep up with. "What can you do?" she said. "I'd rather not be six feet tall, but at least it's good for tennis."​

At this time last year she was roughly 5 feet 4 and 90 pounds, a skinny-armed girl from Yugoslavia with a laugh like Woody Woodpecker and hair like Pippi Longstocking, and she was just beginning to climb. In the last three months, the tennis world caught its breath at her accomplishments."​
