Andrey Rublev: A Force of Nature. .. Racquet and Specs

I dont know his specs do you? He indicated Rublev is using a very heavy stick by saying “something like 700g” And I replied to dr who posted Rublev’s specs which I don’t find to be extreme in any way.

How's a static weight of ~360g a "girly stick"?

But head will never be honest and sell Rublev s actual racquet. They will probably put him on instinct line.

djokovic went back to head right after using H22 and getting his first AO for money and money only. Plus his family got the distribution rights for head products in Serbia.
dimitrov and monfils were nothing with their prestige. Same thing applies to Stan wawrinka who ditched his prestige for vcore 95d which helped him to get where he is today.
As for rublev , maybe Wilson is making him another custom gravity mold calling it H5738272784748 and paint it like a blade next year. Who knows.
He doesnt want this Wilson crap. Moving to Head was the best decision he ever made and his game is much stronger now.

It's the same as what happened with Novak.

And the reverse is true for Monfils and Dimitrov, who left Head (via Prince in Monfils' case) to go for Wilson gimmicks and $$, and their games went backwards.

I do agree in terms of Stan. Not suprised to see him thrive with Head or Yonex.... both are excellent options.

The first generation of Yonex VCore Pro 97 310s were the sticks that cured me of racquetholism :)

While Dimitrov’s prime was also hindered by those cheap Nike id retail shoes with outsoles that wore out within two sets on court. With his ps97 he s got a wtf and that he can never get with prestige.

no matter who rublev decides to sign next season I still root for him and wish him well.

Hi Alex 21.5 +/- 7, can you show me the H22 racket line from the honest Wilson company?
where I can choose the lay-up, as it is rumored that it comes in different lay-ups

by the way, do you want to tell us what happened between you and Head?
did they refuse to provide you with some free stuff?
were you fired?

Hi Alex 21.5 +/- 7, remember which stick Zverev used to win the WTF?

LOL someone is trolling again.

ok, let's leave the trolling aside.

can you show me where I can purchase the H19 / H22 / H25 and choose the lay-up myself?
and can you finally explain why are you so triggered about Head? but not about Wilson, Babolat and other manufacturers?

I don't know. it just felt different than stock version off the shelf. i didn't hit any balls with it , i just had a chance to hold it in my hands and swing it few times.

perhaps it was customized to his specs?
some folks here claim that he adds 25g of weight, which is a lot and of course it will feel differently to the stock version.

but hey, nobody forbids you to add the same amount of weight, if you can handle it

Of course. Molded Handle, tons of lead in the handle, 340g static weight unstrung and low SW...

I’m not surprised you have no clue about anything in this thread. He uses the gravity pro, which is in its first generation, meaning there’s no paintjob for an older racquet, he is using the same thing we all are except different weight/balance/swingweight. We know once his Wilson contract is up or when Head signs him he will use the gravity paint because it is literally what he uses and it’s an up and coming line. Stop hating on Head over nothing.

Give me a break.NEXT Year If head signs rublev and sells the same gravity mold to the public it is fine. But do you think that will happen they already put zv on the gravity. I am warning you since this is a company who uses Djokovic on speed line and Murray on the new radical which is nothing like what they use on court. so anything can happen.
Just wanting to buy something that is at least honest.

Looks like you've fully recovered from this fiasco... still funny how much you got owned there :-D

LOL. People like you are so narrow minded and treating a few lines like a major defeat. It was a joke to begin with and you have the urgency to treat it so seriously.

a joke that is repeated a 100 times isn't funny.
but it tells that you have a personal issue with one racket manufacturer.

I bet that you were fired from this company.

Hi,
Rublev always has been very picky with his rackets, even if those were made of the same spec he always favourited 2 or 3 frames from the set, and he liked to play with those most of the time. He played with H22 for many years, last October/November (2019), he received a set of frames to test, I saw the shipping and I even unpacked some of those myself, there were Speeds, Extremes, Prestiges and Gravity. All blacked out.
It looks that he liked the Gravity(Pro) over the other frames, and they were doing around 20 for him to test different setups (that's the regular process). He picked one (don't know the exact specs, but I can ask those if you're interested), a light one to start so he could add more weight. He also likes the frame to be filled with foam for a more muted feel. He got a set made for him (they we all on the same spec) he just liked 4, and these are the ones that he's been using.
Met him several times and I have to say that he is a very nice guy, very dedicated, his dream is to become number one.

Hi,
You make me doubt now with the 6.1 . If I'm right, I remember seeing some H22 from Rublev. I will ask the guy who's doing his rackets tomorrow to get out of the doubt.
Thanks moon shot
His main stick for awhile was the 6.1 but I remember seeing him playing with the h22 and H19 briefly. He's a disciple of Verdasco I presume.

In next gen finals 2018 (or 2017? I think 2018) he was using 6.1, H22 and H19. After that he kept using the H22 for a small time but then changed back to the 6.1 quite shortly after that.
In cincy 2019 his last match with the 6.1 was against Roger. That tournament he was switching around a lot with the blackout and his zebra 6.1s

that sounds like what I remember, I’ll dig through Getty later to see what year that nextgen final was.

He was indeed using the camouflaged 6.1 to take down Federer at cc. I thought he was gonna stick with it.

I don’t say that to doubt anything else you say, just going by pictures and pws.

As I recall his H22 was painted as a burn, H19 as a ultra, and 6.1 as a PS97 and later the zebra/German maritime camo.

Hi,
Moon shot, you were right. When I read your comment, I also remembered the 6.1 with him, that's why you made me doubt.. (I'm getting old) :)
I asked the guy who makes his rackets today, he told me that (from the time he has been making his rackets) he used 6.1 then H22, then went back to 6.1, then tried H19 and finally stayed with H22 again. This was the last Wilson he was using. Same story, had one favourite H22 from all the set. He also told me that they offered him to be the new face for the Radical, but nothing came after that. We will have to wait to see what happens when his contract with Wilson expires.
Thanks

Man, the face of the radical would have been something along with the Agassi inspired Nike clothes!

No, he was changing with his burn pro staff and ultra paintjob
From what I can tell he played the ultra painted H19 against Quinzi and Chung. He played the H19 and H22 Burn against Shapovalov and maybe Coric. He played exclusively with the H22 burn against Chung in the final and possibly the semi against Coric.

You forgot the Radicals (313s to be precise). I do have two of those 313s black outs...

Funny or not you still bit. I never worked in this industry let along for a company like head. Check your facts before making claim like this.
