The reality is that Nadal is 35 when RG rolls around if he wins he is the oldest RG champion in the open era. Father Time is undefeated. These guys cannot dominate forever they have had extraordinary consistency and domination but every year it gets harder. It is inevitable and very soon that the slams must be shared. It’s pretty apparent that the gap is narrowing with the likes of med, tsitsi, Zverev, sinner and thiem, Rublev can knock out any of big 3 on there day at any tournament.

I’ll let u in on a little secret sky, it should relieve your mind - Rublev has not got the brains to beat Nadal at RG he has very low tennis IQ is a ball basher that is not good at making adjustments. He has not won anything above 500 level when he is on yes he can blast u off the court but he has not got the mentality to beat Nadal at RG Mark my words..

I rate Rublev but no unless a freak match happens. Still mentally weak in biggest matches and hasn’t fixed the holes in his game. When he wins a masters and makes a couple slam semis we can start considering him as serious threat but not yet.

Have you not seen the progress Nadal has made during this clay season? MC did not see the real Rafa this year, Barcelona was a bit better, but in Rome he was getting, hitting his best so far in the final. Looks very good for RG!
