Andy Murray’s running on empty, says John McEnroe

You could probably say the same thing about Nadal. Overtraining and overplaying took its toll on his knees, rather than raising his game. I never fell for all the hype about Murray. He seems like a great player and all, but it also seems like he doesn't have a great weapon to depend on, like the other top players do.

Murray said after the match he hurt his wrist. He certainly didn't look like he was sucking wind, nothing like Monfils last night.

I'm pretty sure that McEnroe picked Andy Murray to win, so he needs an excuse. He has also been predicting a Federer let down, which has yet to happen...

This hasn't been a great slam for the critics (Murray and Roddick), and I doubt they'll learn their lesson in time for Australia.

Overtraining? Huh? How about by being overly defensive and not aggressive enough especially when big points were on the line?

How Murray played Nadal last year, very aggressively, thats how Murray should have played. But he goes back to his pusher defensive ways. Sure great for 3 set matches, but in the slams players turn it up

I don't think so, he did have a bad wrist but it didn't really make a difference.

Cilic would of beaten pretty much everyone yesterday, only Federer would of been able to come up with an answer.

He reduced his racquet weight slightly after getting injured while training with BG. Even though this injury was in the non-dominant hand, he is a 2 hander so racquet weight could have played a role. He needs to switch to a lighter frame.

Yeah, you probably know it better than his whole staff.
