Ferrer can easily overtake him in rankings.

if QF is peak then don't expect more than 2nd round in slams .
Even old fed hit 37 winners in 3 sets . shame on such low level champion.

I'm pretty much agreement with what you said-not quite as strongly-but, given that you only "first came here" in July, that makes the "threat" to never post again if you're proven wrong look even more empty than it already does.

If Murray really is such a loser after winning multiple Slams, multiple Masters titles and multiple other titles how do you rate all the players ranked below him who have all won zilch compared to him including Stan Wawrinka, the guy who beat him tonight?

At the age of 26, Murray has won a total of 28 titles including 2 Slams and 9 Masters and has played in 5 other Slam finals.

At the age of 28, 2 years older than Murray, Wawrinka has won a grand total of 4 titles, all ATP250s, the lowest category of title on the tour and has only just now made his first ever Slam semi-final.

So if Murray is such a loser, as it seems to make you very happy to think, what does that make the guy who just beat him tonight and every single other guy currently ranked below him except for Federer and Hewitt?

Even you cannot really be THAT stupid! How have you proved that he will not win another Slam? This year, Djokovic lost at the French Open and in the final of Wimbledon and Nadal got booted out of Wimbledon in the 1st round! Does that mean that neither of them will ever win another Slam? At least Murray goes deep into all his Slams. You never see him getting booted out in the first round like Nadal did!

Murray will win another slam. Maybe next year or the year after.

I don't think he'll ever have a dominant year where he wins 3-4 slams and has no bad losses, but he'll be back and winning slams again. Maybe at the australian, maybe next year's W or USO.

Since 2008 up until 2010 I had a local tennis racquet/apparel store owner tell me that Murray would "never" win a slam. Even though I like Murray's playing style less than Nadal I see Murray getting 5 majors (1 AO and 2 more Wimb)

I think the guy should be allowed his opinion even if its ridiculous. Djokovic and Nadal could possibly deny Murray in the Semi/Final of every slam for the next two years and then the "new" top ten may show up to challenge the Older Murray.

With Murray's low mileage and early round losses should allow him to inherit the biz from Nadal and partially from Djoker (if he keeps on making 2-3 gs finals a year)

You are setting you're self up for the fall. Andy has been extreemely consistant in Slams and you only have to look at his results over the past 13 months to see that he finds his way into finals. He could win a bunch more of these titles and I'm going to remember you!

He manage to win Wimby and US Open, 2 of the most prestigious majors, when folks back then were saying he wont win any major.

My guess he has his focus on AO and Roland Garros. He'll bounce back for sure.
