Another awesome interview! Great to get to know more about Angela Kulikov. Shortly after they unlocked the tennis courts during the covid lockdown, i was hitting with my friends at the Claremont High School tennis courts. On the court behind us was this female player accompanied by a coach training with a male player. I didn't know who the players were, but it was obvious they were both very high level players. Turns out the female player was Angela! I've been following her since that day. I did wonder why she didn't pursue a career as in singles so it was sad to hear that health issues derailed her plans for singles. :( But I was very happy to see her have great success playing doubles. :) Keep up the great work, Michelle! Damn, had I seen that Angela was looking for a hitting partner in Claremont, I would definitely have responded!

She says she's not a very clean ball striker? She was hitting pretty darn clean the day I saw her practicing!

That's awesome! And agree, she hits a clean ball...I have a HARD time listening to her when she says otherwise ;) But, I understand that self-deprication somedays...hah!

Thanks for checking it out and listening, definitely a fun convo for me to have on my end too!
