Another lead tape question

I asked a question about putting lead tape on the handle before.

Now heres another one...

If putting lead tape on the head of the racket increases power, does putting it on the handle increase control? What would you say from experiences?

i put about two packs worth of lead tape underneath of the replacement grip of my wilson n5 which is a very head heavy racket so it most likely wouldnt have the same effect as if you put lead tape on the handle of your k90. Anyways, my main purpose of doing so was to counterweight it so i can get more maneuverability from the racket rather than the shots but yes i noticed i got quite a bit more control because it toned the power down a bit and in return gave me the maneuverability i needed. Unfortuanetly though, even two packs of lead tape was not enough to convert it to a handle heavy racket.

i do not believe it does. the only thing it did for me was give me arm problems. however, i do use it as a counter balance to lead in the hoop. i've got 11.5g in the handle and 16g in the hoop.

putting head tape underneath the handle will make the racquet more headlight.. this will increase overall racquet weight but your racquet will "feel" and "swing" lighter.. people usually do this to counterbalance lead in the hoop or to have a more maneuverable racquet at the net for volleys.
