Roger made the top 100 in September 1999 and dropped out immediately just to come back a couple of weeks later and stay there until now. So, 1018 weeks are consecutive.... naturally, it is yet another record

It's not like Roger is clinging to the 85th spot in the rankings in order to barely eke out this record. The guy is winning Masters tournaments and leading the race to London while being ranked 4th in the world, for krissakes.
