Any chance of TW becoming a Srixion distributor?

Title says it all :) Just curious. Thank you for everything you so as always!!!

Also, any word on the backordered Dunlop grommets? (I have a few on backorder. It's not the end of the world, just curious)

well that certainly seals it for me!!! Just curious, what exactly do people want with these racquets that they don't get with other racquets?

Hehe yeah trying to get some hype going.

Dunlop 300 is one of my favorite frames and a few of the Srixon rackets build on that mold but with some modern tweaks. That makes me eager to try them.
Dunlop and Srixon are owned by the same company in Japan IIRC.

Does Srixon have a version of the 200 series in their line currently?
Srixon Revo CX 2.0 Tour seems pretty much a 16x19 version of the 200 Series (95 squared inches, 20mm Straight Beam). They also have an 18x20 Variant in Limited Edition. In their site there's no information concerning Swingweight and Stiffness, though.

I wonder whether they are biomimetic lay ups ir bio fibre becsuse that would be of interest.

According to their site: "Materials: Graphite, High-elasticity graphite, High-modulus graphite, Dipolgy® epoxy resin, High-resilience silicon". This is written for every Racquet in the CX Series. I don't know much more that that :\

The SRIXON REVO CX 2.0+:

In a nutshell: A thinner 'players' frame (20-21mm) in a 98 sq in package...EXTENDED (for those of us who are 'vertically challenged'). The last of those were the Babolat Pure Control + (Pure Strike VS Tour is not going extended).

That racquet looks similar to a Dunlop 300 series mold.

I thought Srixon was essentially Dunlop frames for the Asian market? Same corporate owner or something along those lines if I recall correctly.
It was that Srixon that owned the rights for the Dunlop name for Japan for tires and sporting goods. Just recently Srixon just bought Dunlop Sports from Sports Direct. It will be interesting to see what Srixon does with Dunlop since they have the whole sports division now.

Will buy as above depending on the result of the new Tecnifibre Ltd 315. I just need this mold!!

BillKid,

It is the current Srixon line. They will be called Dunlop Srixon.

Thanks,
Brittany, TW
Will the frames have a new cosmetic to reflect the new brand name or will they be visually the same as the current Srixon range? Thanks

Roland,

They will visually have the same cosmetics but will have the Dunlop name added to different parts of the racquet.

Thanks,
Brittany, TW

The Revo CX 2.0 looks like an interesting frame to lead up a bit. I wonder what the SW and flex is on these frames

I can't believe that there's no published specs of the flex (RA) anywhere to be found on the web. Dunlop/Srixon published every spec, but flex.

Good day~ I had the Kevin Anderson Limited Edition before there new release this year. I wanted to like it, nice looking racquet, but I found nothing special with it. I also have the Revo CX 2.0 Tour 16X19, this racquet playing much better. Nothing better than the Classic Prestiges.....but we all have are likes and dislikes.

AllCourtheathen,

it doesn't look like it at this time. I have reached out to them to get confirmation if they will be expecting them.

Thanks,
Brittany, TW

You need to update the CZ line. It uses Sonic Core VG which is different than the regular Sonic Core technology found in the CX line for example.

Are these new frames or is it the current Srixon line? Is the name Srixon or Dunlop?

BillKid

I just saw a commercial with James Blake as the spokesman touting the new Dunlop Srixon line. The only thought that came to my mind was that
Blake admittedly confessed he used P.J.'s his entire career, which means he made money claiming he used a particular racquet when it was only
painted to look like the racquet he was pushing to make money.

Now he advertising the Dunlop Srixon, getting paid more money to push your buying his recommendation. I don't think I would believe him as he
has sold out before.

There are enough Pro Players that actual play with the racquet they promote, even though they may be custom weighted. Therefore, I think
there are enough racquets to choice from without taking advise from a sellout.

Aloha

Tennis Only will be receiving these racquets in January. At this time, TWE will not be getting them.

We just started playtesting the racquets last week. Look for a video review at the beginning of October with the written to follow 1-2 weeks later.

Thanks,
Brittany, TW

@JGads I had meant this one here :)

Thanks Brittany for the information. The Revo CX 2.0 looks very interesting and falls in the range of specs that I'm looking for (others include models like the Yonex Ezone DR98, Volkl VSense 9 and VSense 8-315, Technifibre TFight Dc315, etc).

I'm looking forward to taking one out on demo when they come in.

Cheers,

Steve
