any cheaper alternatives to Stringway floating clamps

I want to get one or two oversized floating clamps to grip the strings before tying the knots. But Stringway triple clamps cost as much as a new Klippermate machine. Any cheaper alternatives? I heard good things about Eagnas clamps but I can't find a way to order them...

Why do you want 2 oversized clamps? Here are some less expensive clamps if you want them http://www.eagnasinc.com/maxgen2/pn3089.html
If you put two clamps on the last three strings (both clamp on the next to last string) it will prevent twisting.

Currently the Stringway flying clamps are the best on the market. There is a new brand coming soon that may be slightly less expensive. If you are patient I would not be shocked to see them in production and released in 2018.

Hi Irvin, would you recommend the Eagnas PN 3089 oversized floating clamp or the PN 3090 midsize. I have the Gamma floating clamps and the strings are slipping through them thus cannot get an accurate string job, which of the floating clamps would you recommend that has a good grip on the strings?

Don’t know much about either of those clamps. I’ve never used the Stringway clamps but most people say they’re good clamps.

The vice-grip-based clamps that should have come with your Klippermate are better than those Eagnas clamps.

If you're worried about the wider string spacing toward the edges of the frame, there's no consistent way to get that right across racquets with floating clamps. You should do the best with what you've got. The money you'd spend on a set of triple clamps would cover a fair chunk of the cost to upgrade to a machine with fixed clamps, which is the better solution.

I have a mid-size Eagnas clamp (PN 3090) which works great and is of good quality. But...it looks like you can get the Stringway double clamp for the same price and the Stringway triple clamp for $10 more. Both Eagnas and Stringway clamps are better than the Gamma clamps.
