I might just come up there and check it out. I haven't played in a very long time and I need to get back my timing.Another pinoy here. We have a tennis association in Union City, CA which is predominantly pinoys and pinays. Visit our site and sign our guest book. The URL is www.uctaonline.com. If you happen to be around Union City, come by for a hit. There are players of different NTRP levels there almost all the time. Feel free to introduce yourself to whoever you find there. The folks there are quite friendly (not just to kababayans).
If you belong to something similar, please post the URL. It is always nice to be able find a place to play when you are not at your "home" courts.
Feel free to drop in. The park we play out of has 6 lighted courts and a U shaped wall which is perfect for warming up while waiting for a court. When you get there just start doing some walling if there are no courts available or you don't have someone to hit with. Eventually, someone will approach you specially if you seem friendly.I might just come up there and check it out. I haven't played in a very long time and I need to get back my timing.

On the weekends there's always players at least until noon. I don't go there every weekend but like what I said, there's always a bunch of friendly players there who are more than happy to accommodate drop ins. What are the days and times people are usually there? Are you out there often?
I know a couple of families that live in Valley Stream but I don't think they play tennis. There are some who play at Arroyo but the majority is at Dyer. That's where the league teams are based too. There are also guys who play at Mt. Eden in Hayward. You and your peers are welcome to drop by. I don't know what skill level you are but you should be able to find a good match. Most people play doubles though but the skill level goes from 2.5 - 4.5. From time to time a 5.0 will show up (very rare though). What's up, are you guys playing at Dyer or Arroyo?

Strangely enough we haven't played at Veterans. Maybe because it's always full.
Yes actually, there are 3-4 clay courts at the Racquet Club of Irvine (RCI). Its a very expensive tennis club, you gotta be a high level junior or pro to play there for free. I got to play there a few times while in the Graziano Tennis Academy.I haven't been to Silverado. Banning park I went there also but it's full both times we went there. Also, at Wilson Park, I saw lots of good people there. I haven't played with anybody else other than my friends as I'm still trying to practice more on my game.
Do you know any clay courts near here?
i live right next to silverado park and used to play there a lot before the courts got abused by soccer players skaters. in the mornings is when a lot players show up but i havent been there in a while.I haven't been to Silverado.
