Yep. The mother of Enrique Iglesias is Filipina. Enrique speaks in Spanish mostly because he was born and raised in Spain.
I was actually thinking about people born and raised, and living in the Filipinas.

One of my tennis club friends is Filipino and he hits a really mean low bouncing flat forehand. He has like 10 layers of overgrip on his racquet which makes the handle look so round and so big.

I live near a part of town known as "Manila Mesa" for the large number of Filipinos but I have not seen anyone like Alex Eala here.

I don't know where this "Manila Mesa" is located. She has mostly lived in Mallorca since she was 12 years old.

Didn’t you (or people you know) see Alex Eala on billboards in Manila after she won the 2022 USO girls' singles title?
