Hi,

Any major differences in the Dunlop AG100 vs the AG 4D 100 version. Looking for comments and insights. Thanks..

Major? No. Minor? Yes.

Mostly, 100 users talk about the slightly different feel. For details, search the Aerogel 100 thread. It's got everyone's impressions.

I can summarize mine this way—if you were to blindfold me, put an AG in one hand, and a 4D in the other, I'd be lucky if I could guess which was which.

Agreed. 4D is just a little bit more stable. For me it just right. I also love the paintjob of the 4D as well.

Thanks so much. I think both PJs are nice in their own way. The 4D is very cool and like a race car. The AG is understated and classic. I was very impressed I could still play and win with a 90 sq inch head. I am sure I will pick up the 4D version soon. I played with the 500 Tour, both versions.. it was very hard to tell the difference. BTW... lookin for a 4D 100. in 4 1/2 or 4 5/8.

Steve, the 100 is a very forgiving 90. It plays much larger in my opinion. And any lack of power can be addressed by stringing lower. I, and many others, have strung in the mid-40s with no real loss of control.

I have several of them I don't need (both versions). Unfortunately, they're all 1/4-grips.

i too have been looking to get a midsized frame for fun or perhaps even practice to train myself to hit the middle all the time. still waiting for 5/8 handles to come in

Yuppers. I am also waiting on the 4 5/8. I would use a 4 1/2. If I am buying new, I would love to have the 4 5/8.

I always wanted to play with something that offers the control of a midsized frame. Sadly most of them are rather heavy and have high swingweights. And being very lean and skinny doesn't help. But the 4d 100 fits really well in that respect with a manageable weight and a really light swingweight (very surprisingly light). I can probably add weight without making it extremely heavy to swing.
