I appreciate the tag, but I am not a 5.0, also not In Dallas this month, but I do have some tips!.
That was a good reccomendation, Lakes Academy. There are high level players at TBar M and Oak Creek CC. Um, T Bar M might have some players there. Also Mckinney Tennis facility has a good network of local city facilities that could get you a hitting partner out of theit contacts. Brookhaven CC might have some 5.0s to hit with as well.
If you are a Facebook person you could post on "Total Tennis Addicts" it is a 2,000 member dallas facebook tennis group. Could be hit or miss though bc 5.0 level is not the main focus of the group.
There is a really good drill/clinic Monday nights at Fretz tennis center, it's 2 hours 7-9 and has 4.5 level and above players, usually around 25 people. Tons of hitting and variety, good friendly people. I'd highly reccomend it. Just call ahead to make sure it's on for the week, I wouldn't want to surprise you of it was not on that week.
Lifetime fitness centers also have tennis and workout facilities. Might be some 5.0s there.
Granbury won't have any big tennis opportunities that I know of, but TCU is nearby in Ft. Worth, they might have some high level players who play there.
Granbury, funky little town, here's some trivia, the 7 ft tall British actor who played Chewbacca lived his later years there with his lady friend who was a Texan.
Hopefully one of these pans out for you.
