Hi!

I was just looking for new shoes and after checking TW I went to Lotto's website and they had the Raptor in a new color. It was white, black, silver and PINK! Believe it or not, it was pretty nice. Now I would like to know if there is any pros using the one with pink. Have you seen any? Do you know if there are matching clothes?

Look at the Lotto Gravity line at the Lotto Leggenda website. I will definetly buy them if TW had them.

A few kids (i'm guessing sponsored) were wearing the Pink shirt at a tourney i played and amazingly the pink is elegant and classy.

Yeah, I think so too. I like it. But not the shirt Hrbaty was wearing. You know the one with holes in. The shorts had holes too. UGLY!

Since the Boris days, Lotto has gotten pretty weak, in my opinion. And now they're reaching for something trendy.

But if you the shoes fit, wear 'em. And if some fellas give you hell about the pink tell 'em you're man enough to pull it off....and earmark a few percent of your tournament winnings for the Breast Cancer Research Fund or the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Oh, I played a mixed doubles tournament (which is rare) with a great lady who used to have a world ranking. She is a cancer survivor and she does all the 10K races, walks and benefit tournaments for the BCRF and the like. She had me wearing a pink 'HOPE' wristband for our matches. Nice. I still wear them.

Originally, pink was the color for baby boys and blue was the color for baby girls. Pink was seen as a more aggressive color, a toned-down red, and blue was a "weaker" color. I'm not sure of the reason for the switch.

Sorry guys if you think this is a gay thread, but I am not gay. The thing is that I am sponsored by Lotto and I haven't seen these shoes before so I just wanted to know what you thought about them. I think they are pretty nice. But I don't like the pink Lotto shirts. I don't think pink is elegant, but I think that it is good that a company try something new. Everybody is wearing Nike or Adidas these days, so I think it is brave that Lotto is trying something different. But the Raptors are not so good. I wear them because I get them for free. I would probably wear Nike if I didn't get them. If you can change shoes every second week because you get them for free, then you wear them right? And of course I am not wearing the pink ones. I have the white and silver Raptors.

baros: I don't think they are in the stores yet. Ask TW if they could sell them.

And guys did you know that more people has prostate cancer then breat cancer. And that the research for prostate cancer is 20 years behind the breast cancer research. So support the blue band and the pink band.

You are a sellout!;) Shameless.

You really get 26 pairs of shoes a year? That's an impressive little deal.

Not if you knew how much it costs to make them(think of Charlie working for 15 cents a day and no bathroom breaks).

I knew there was a reason I shell out a hundred bucks for Babolat shoes. I fantasize that the people who sew my shoes (Pierre, Marie, et al) get regular toilette and/or smoke breaks, wine with a gourmet lunch toujours, and a pension plan that covers holidays to St. Tropez, Nice et Cannes chacque anee.

I am dreaming. Poor Charlie probably makes them too. If not, those shoes might cost $200 a pair.
