Any Really Good Bags?

I'm currently looking for a new 6-8 Racquet bag, and I was wondering if any of you have any suggestions for a good bag? I'm currently leaning toward the Head Tour Team 06 or the Flexpoint bag.

Thanks :D

If you are the type who doesn't really want to match their bags with racquets or brands I would suggest you check out the Dunlop M-Fil bags. I currently own the 10-pack and I have to say, it is a great bag!! It can hold tons of stuff, I currently have 4 racquets in it, clothes, shoes, food, water, and other stuff.. It holds shape very well too!! I wrote a little review on it, if you use the search function (Dunlop M-Fil Red review)..

BABOLAT AEROPRO 8 pack bag, Looks Cool and thermal keeps heat out and keeps dry conditions in the bag and has spaces for shoes and wet shirts and so on.........best in the market...:D

rafa, why do you never know what you are talking about. theres no aeropro pack, only a 6 and 12. are you just trying to get our post count up?

that aside, the aeropro's are very overpriced and not worth their hefty price tag. for that $$$, i would suggest the dunlop 10 pack. its the one of largest capacity bags(and one of the best i may add) in terms of capacity/price ratio. if you would like another brand, let us know what racquet you are currently playing with, as i would assume you would like to match your racquet with your bag in that case.

Couldn't care less about matching, i think he just wants a best bag in the market. As far as Dunlop bag goes, it is not the best for keeping moisture out and keeping things dry like the thermals. and it does not keep the temperature low very well on a Hot summer day. Wilson is little cheaper and it is very good bag..........;)

UM.. Haha if you would search up.. DUNLOP M-Fil bags have Thermoguard. Which is basically what your talking about, lol.

This stylish new M-Fil Red 10-pack offers pro tour quality in every feature. Heavyweight materials throughout and generous padding in the straps makes for a bag that protects your gear while also being very comfortable to carry. Each of the three racquet compartments offers thermal protection to protect racquets from temperature changes.

Like I said before, probably one of the best bags in the market. I definately agree with BOGIE.

It also is very stylish ;)

No I am not biased to any brand, if I try something and I see it is very good I will definitely recommend it to someone.

Well can you explain to me which Thermoguards are good and bad?

well look at it this way. the thermogaurd in the head team bags is very cheaply made and tends to peel off from what i've personally seen. several of my friends own the dunlop 10 pack and the 6 pack red mfil bags. they are so ruggedly made and sturdy that the only way you can get the thermogaurd off would be if you were to cut it off. just because pnoyred uses the mfil bag and racquets doesnt make his opinion biased, he just knows what's the best in performance/price ratio. maybe it is you who is a bit biased, no? i mean rafa uses the aeropro bag and you automatically suggested the aeropro bag and yet you suggested an 8 pack bag, which according to you is the best in the world, although it doesn't exist?

but then maybe thats just me ;)

Lol, thanks Bogie..

I am not the only one here to recommend the Dunlop M-Fil bag Rafa.. As you can see Bogie recommended the Dunlop M-Fil bag also. Just because I recommend a bag and I use it doesn't necessarily mean I am biased.

There is a Good Thermaguard and Bad theramguard, could you be possibly a Little biased to Dunlop just maybe????

Sorry, but what the hell are you talking about??? I know that you're purposely posting nonsense for all or some of these reasons:

1. You're trying to inflate your post count
2. You're purposely trying to irritate people
3. You're socially inept and cannot see that you're irritating people
4. You're just plain sans cerebral/anencephalitic

Whatever it is, you do not contribute anything positive to this forum.

I understand there is a lot of irritable feelings towards RBF but I did a search for him and was unable to come up with anything but google did suggest that possibly he may be related to a 4 legged creature. So maybe we should start treating him like one.

Someone get a leash and a bowl of water :). This boy needs to be trained and housebroken.

Do dogs and monkeys get along?

I would second the notion of the m-fil bags. I own the Fischer M-Speed 6-pack. It's great, but is sort of weird in that one side keeps its shape, and the other side doesn't.

I also would recomend the dunlop bag. I have owned 3 head combi packs, the 05, 06 and the 06 tour, they were all crap and that is why i switched them out pretty quickly. I have also ownded the wison super six and it was an ok bag at best. I currently have the dunlop 10 pack bag and I must say it is the nicest bag I have ever owned. The only complaint is it needs a couple more small pockets for grips and such. The price is really good also. Rafa best friend might say I am biased also....but from what I see, he is a quack!! if quality and price are truley what your focusing on, go for the dunlop it is a top notch bag

Wow blabit you have gone through tons of bags there.. Yeah that was my only complaint too, they need more small pockets for small things like cell phones, grips, tape, etc. Other than that it's a great bag!! Probably the best for both price and quality.

from personal experience, i can say that the dunlop bags are some of if not the sturdiest bags out there, aside from the tecnifibre tour which can have a bomb go off inside of them and still stay intact. i would strongly suggest the mfils based on great price, thermogaurd which is a very nice touch, ridiculously sturdy/heavy duty design, comfort, and size. great bag, and obviously im not the only one that thinks so. definitely a good buy.

Dunlop's new aerogel line of bags is great. Volkl's always had good bags.

Some people like a bag without a racquet company logo on it.
Tennis Warehouse makes a great 9er.
I've got an old Diadora "credita bag" that's probably discontinued, but man that thing is like 5 or 6oo denier polyester, and it fits in the overhead bin easily.
I've seen that FILA and balle de match make good looking bags. Not sure of the quality.

Volkl's Boris Becker bag line is inexpensive and solid, too. If you do not mind Boris name across the bottom.

If you go to the Dunlop Aerogel thread you will see a pic of their whole Aerogel bag range. I believe it is on the last page, if not the 2nd to the last page.

Pot calling the kettle black much? Like you're one to talk about being bias.

" RAFA will win this, FED is crap, RAFA win Wimbledon, AO, RAFA wipe the floor with FED."

Nearly 20 posts a day of pure crap. I dont care if he has the most posts on the board, he will never be considered of any use and i would most likely take advice from someone with the rookie tag than him/her.

Blabit, can you tell us why you thought the '06 Head Combi/Super Combi sucked since I´m thinking of getting one?

It's sort of like thread count on good cotton sheets. The higher the number, the more dense the weave. Well, with sheets, I think they use a thinner thread, just more of them.

With bags, it is more about the linear density of the shell, so your bag can do battle with baggage handlers, conveyor belts and the like. I have never checked my racquet bag, but it's still nice to have something substantial and durable, especially if you're going to use it almost every day on hard courts, in lockers, and in general.

Different subject: I wonder if the thermoguard stuff is just a gimmick. Like how much difference does that make?

i own the dunlop m-fil (red) bag and it is a great bag. So great that I switched to head rackets and kept the dunlop (I'm superficial and usually switch bags when i get new rackets). It's been on a lot of plane trips from college and the only complaint is doesn't have a sealable small container for keys/wallet. It only has a pouch you can put things in that doesn't totally seal. It keeps shape and holds alot. Overall 9/10

I am not affiliated in any way to TW but check the TW bags; I just received a 6 racket bag and all I can say is wow :) plus when you consider the price they go for, another big :))

jonolau had a post with a photo of his 9 racket TW bag and you might want to check it out before making a purchase. It has lots of small and medium sized compartments to store all the things (overgrips, balls....)

The O6 combi was the worst of the bunch. The shoulder straps are very uncomfortable and the bag itself is just flimbsy. The shoulder straps began to tear about a week after I got the bag. I don't have much weight in it at the time. The bag looks great online, but I was imediatly disappointed wth it. I know the price is not that high, but it is a piece of garbage in my opinion. Sorry to all you Head Bag owners, but it just does not stack up to others out there.
