Any replacement grips good enough to use without overgrip?

I am used to using a grip with an overgrip, but my new racquet's grip is a little larger than most and if I add an overgrip, it's too thick. But with just the grip by itself, it's perfect size.

So my question is, what replacement grips are soft and tacky, like Gamma Supreme Overgrip, so I don't need any overgrip?

the Head hydrasorb is ok...it is real tough to replace an OG though. What I would do is see what other people say, but also buy a resin bag as well.

Well, leather if you're into that sorta thing. Gamma Hi-Tech (if they still make them) is a good option as well.

^YEs^
But if you like thin, firm and tacky [insert Paris Hilton or other Hollywood idiot joke here],
go with a leather grip (installed twice and kind of tight) and your favorite thin, tacky overgrip. I like Wilson and Yonex, but even thinner are the Dunlop Gecko Tac and the Babolat VS grip, which reminds me of Gripsy.

No, I don't like leather or real thin grips. I just want something that I can use without an overgrip? I guess I can try the Head Hydrosorb by itself? It feels pretty tacky.

Either that or I can just get a thinner
replacement grip and then it will still be good with my usual Gamma Supreme overgrip.

OK, Crisis Averted! :)

I replaced my Hydrosorb grip with a Prince Resipro + gamma supreme overgrip and it's right where it needs to be :)

The Resipro was thin enough to allow me to use my usual overgrip.

Gamma Hi Tech is good for a replacement grip and no need for an overgrip. I just bought 4 for my rackets in different colors, black, orange, red and yellow.

My bag now have a rainbow in the racket compartment :)

anyone else experiencing this problem, i'd also highly recommend a resin pad, i first tried one a couple of years ago, and they give you such amazing grip, even if they do smell a bit odd! :)
