Any views on Lotto tennis shoes?

I'm looking to get a new pair of tennis shoes and have been trying on various Nike and Adidas models, but not really found them very comfortable or a particularly good fit.

So I tried on a pair of Lotto shoes and they were instantly comfortable, had good grip and felt light yet stable around my foot.

I was just wondering if anyone else wears Lotto and their experiences?

Thanks

I have several pairs of the Raptor Ultra II Speed. I love them! Much more comfortable (on my feet) than my B6 and CB 2.3 (which I'm trying to unload - see FS section).

Similar to Zoom Breathe 2K10s, IMO

The Ultra Raptor II are my favorite shoes as well. Fits my feet well, good support for hardcourt tennis but not too stiff, and very quick off the first step. That's why I have several pairs stockpiled :)

Thanks guys.

I'd been trying on the standard Nike and Adidas models and didnt find the fit that great.

So I randomly slipped on a pair of Lotto T-Effect and they were so comfortable and have great grip. Not tried the Raptors, they seem to be the flagship shoe.

Tar Heel,

Nice to see a fellow North Carolinian.

Question about the Lottos: In comparison to the 2K10s, is the fit similar? I normally wear a 13 in Nike, but the 2K10s were cut so that I had to drop down to 12. So, would Lottos be more fitting for me in a 12 or 13? Thanks.

For what it's worth, I wear 13 in Babolat and Asics shoes and 12 in Adidas.

Anyone else feel free to weigh in, as well.

Go NC! :)
I have several pairs of 2K10s - the blue ones are 10.5s, the greys are 11:-|

not sure why I need to wear different sizes based on the color. But my Lottos are 11.

I guess I would start with the 13, and go from there.....

Good luck!

How are the Raptor ultra II on clay? We just put clay courts in at our club and I'm looking for a good clay court shown. Wish Diadora would get back in the game.

I just got a pair of the Ultra II's and am really pleased with them. I have had the Vapors, Courtballistics, Breathes, and most recently the Barricades. The Vapors were my favorites, but appeared to be made out of chocolate. The Barricades were great, but felt like tanks. At the price I got the Lottos and the performance I have had thus far, I'm pretty pleased. I really think these shoes should be getting more play.

I ended up getting a pair of Lotto and a pair of the KSwiss Speedster.

Both are very good in terms of support, comfort and foot speed, but I have to say, the KSwiss Speedster are exceptional value.

I play exclusively on clay with the Ultra Raptor IIs and find them to be extremely well suited to the surface.

Practically no break-in and quite stable, low to the ground and the concave forefoot is great non-gimmicky design that allows for explosive movement.
