anyone able to read japanese? take a look at the new prince frames!

great find bro. a lot of us have been waiting for news on the speedport graphite...AWESOME...a midsize speedport racquet!

dude, like i said, courtesy of automatix.

don't wanna be stealing his thunder.
just wanna know what EXo3's about

oh lol my bad. they look way different from the normal paintjobs on the speedports. maybe EX is some form of fancy graphite or something. it'd be stupid to mess with anything but 100% graphite for these babies.

omg! I WANT THIS FRAME!!!!!!!!!!!!

the new pog, but with a new string pattern (16*18 instead of 14*18...)

My shop tells me that Prince USA is unvailing the racquets next month to the shops, but there is no word yet on commercial e.t.a.

yeah, i want to try the mid but i've never played with a stick that has a cross stabilizer. how does that effect the stick at all?

also the rebel. looks a little too light though.

hope they beef it up for us americans.
:)

I read all those linked webpages but there was no mention of what exo3 is all about. They claim that EXO3 graphite 93s are good for baseliners, EXO3 graphite 100s provide better spin & serve potential for all-court players, EXO3 Rebel 95s are for hard-hitters b/c of the dense string pattern, EXO3 Rebel 100s are for flat-hitting all-round players.

badly
pfchang how about the rebel as my new stick?

just get this stick and go home.

anything about the Oports at all?

As for Graphite series racquets, they say they've raised the location of string-holes (I guess they're Oports) to as high as the 2nd cross, resulting in more powerful shots near the top of the racquets.

As they start the description of Rebel series racquets with "In addition to Speedports. . ." I believe Oports are also in those racquets. They also claim that Rebel series racquet heads are more of an oval shape, providing faster swingspeed for players.

The Exo3 Graphite looks awesome, and the specs sound good. Not so for the Rebel - why can't the *******s make a players OS version!?

your **** is leaving me befuddled. not too good at hangman.
obscenity?

hmmm. that sounds good. but those silvery ridges on the Oports, do they do anything?

No explanation whatsoever of those silver ridges. Could be just paintjob.:)

any info on the makeup of the racket? i know its now the EXOPOG, but could they have tossed some sort of material in the frame?

and are the ports much smaller?

wait, this is amazing - I actually really dig the rebel yellow - the Rebel Yell! definitely demoing both of these...nice find!! You sure it is not for Japan only?

according to the ghetto translations (you hav to admit it works:)), the graphite is graphite (its says carbon but i assume they mean graphite) + fiberglass so im thinking its gonna hav a flexy feel cuz of the fiberglass

the ports are much smaller because the beam is thinner

pfchang, a clue - its starts with 'b' and means persons of illegitimate birth:twisted:

I live in Japan so I will pop down to Sports Depot later on today and see if anything has arrived in store.

And it is graphite with glass fibre too! WOW a combination speedport, POG and MAX200G! Says on the site that flex is a bit on the stiff side though.

And here I though it meant "stroker," as in someone with developed strokes (it's a player's racquet after all).

I spoke to my dad last night about these because he receives prince racquets in his shop and he told me that he got an invoice for all of these racquets. I dont know if they well have different specs or paintjobs but he said he was getting speedport graphites and rebels. So its the US to thankfully!

just sent to a friend of mine who is teaching in Japan....hopefully he can have it translated

i'll report asap

Good find.

And it wouldn't surprise me if this "EXO3" thing becomes renamed for the US, and possibly with a more subdued PJ.

And good job Prince with finally dipping back into the midsize, low powered genre. Even the sp tour seemed a bit overpowered. We'll hope that the prince power ratings on these are more accurate than with the speedports. If the Graphite 93 (rated 700) plays more like my precision response titanium (also rated 700), I'll be happy.

Would be curious to try this combo though:
PJ of the graphite, weight/balance of the graphite, PL of graphite
String pattern of the rebel, and 95" headsize from the rebel.

I'm happy - between the 93, 95 and 100 I'll be able to find something that I like. (I hope) It seems like all have a 2008/09 release date, apart from the Graphite 93 - 2008/12.
