I heard from a friend about mamba and discho products that sells good strings for great prices and came across this string.

I was wondering if anyone tried this string and could give me some feedback on it. I currently string Genesis Typhoon and am looking for a cheaper replacement, love the twisted/profile feel of a string.

Personally I didn't like Black Spin. It was harsh, low powered and didn't give me much spin even at low tension of 45lbs. Iontec Black is much better for me in all areas but it is a smooth string. You can try Iontec Hexa and Tourna Big Hitter Blue Rough.

neither...I found much better Tour Bite...try and let us know

Tour Bite is undoubtedly a great shaped spin string. But it costs MORE than Typhoon. OP is looking for a cheaper replacement. TB is going in the opposite direction.

Yeah I loved playing with Tour Bite sets but it was way too expensive. I bought a reel of Typhoon and am running low and was trying to find a cheaper string that has good spin potential and decent tension maintenance.

I'm liking the Iontec Hexa, what does this "salmon color" look like in the string bed?
