Anyone familiar with Forten Aramid or Forten Kevlar Thin Blend?

I'm trying out a poly/multi hybrid for the first time. I have yet to string it up, but it will be a Head Sonic 17g poly with a Forten Sweet 16g multi.

If I like this, I'll want to stick with it (or something similar), but I am cheap (really cheap) so I want a cheap poly to go with my multi.

I was looking around on TW and I came across Forten Aramid. Based on the description it is a hybrid pack of 17g kevlar with 16g synthetic gut?

And the Forten Kevlar Thin Blend appears to be 18g kevlar and 17g synthetic gut?

Is anyone familiar with these? The price point seems ideal to me, and from what I have read, kevlar is somewhat similar to poly?

Would a kevlar/multi hybrid be similar to a poly/multi hybrid?

Appreciate some input from anyone with knowledge of this hybrid pack (or anyone with general information on kevlar/multi).

I personally don't like kevlar. It's just way too stiff and unplayable, IMO. Today, there are so many really good polys out there that are durable, playable, and have good feel. Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power is a favorite of many, however it's tension drops way too fast to suit me. I've played Polyfibre TCS 17, and just today with Gensis Spin X 17. My first impression of the Genesis is a soft feeling poly, very decent touch, good spin, and it's supposed to hold tension well. We will see on that end. Although I have yet to try it, I hear Topspin makes a great poly and it's resonably priced. I hope this helps out a little. Good Luck!
