Anyone Heard Of - Or Know Details About The Puma Dynamic 90 Racket ?

I picked this up a month or two back but can find little info about it.
I`m guessing it date`s to the mid `80s looking at the graphics.
Other than the racket name there is no other info on it at all -not even the grip size or recommended string tension range.
I`m thinking of getting it restrung at around 50lbs as the original strings are pretty dead and I`d like to see how this measures upnwith fresh ones.
The racket came in a Puma Davis Cup bag- which I think is a completely diffent model of a higher spec.

Responses which omit references to Boris Becker earn bonus points :)

Looks like the Puma designers said, “what if we took the egg-head shaped Winner racket, and made it standard oval shaped?” And this was the result.

Hmmmm I would imagine this being a big box store frame .
It’s very interesting and quite beautiful I think . I’m a sucker for v throats they always look European and from the future .
I think slobodon used a puma similar to the shape of this maybe his was larger in the head . Puma pro speed I think was his silver and red round head v throated puma .
It was the same price point as the heavy hitters ie super , winner , Davis cup , etc ..
I think this may be in line with the puma hi fleck and maybe even the puma flex pro ?
I’d love to hear how it hits …

It also seems quite similar to the ion tiriac touch of class white puma ! Which back then white rackets with saddle brown leather grips looked like a million $$$ racket . Like for real . For those of us that remember the “ ceramic “ phase of white tennis rackets they were something we’d never seen before and the price tag reflected that ideology

It`s difficult to get a true picture of how it plays at the moment as the old strings are pretty dead.
I terms of solidty and feel it seems pretty similar to the Wilson Pro Comp (85sqin) I have - another box beam mid 80`s stick from around the same time as the original graphite Pro Staff was released I think.

I am going to guess this was a budget frame considering the Puma logo graphics are just a sticker, and it’s starting to peel off. Even most cheapo frames paint on their graphics lol.

Even the name "Dynamic 90" in the throat is off center. Looks like a widebody frame from the photos.

Pipe down in the cheap seats! ;)
Yes, it is a graphics sticker- but its under the final coats of lacquer ..it`s not been properly applied -but it`s not coming off.
It`s a constant beam at 18.5mm -same as the Wilson racket I mentioned so not a widebody
I`m trying to find some old Puma adverts that might indicate date/price/composition etc
I`ll update if I find anything ..the buzz of interest is palpable :);)

I must admit in the pictures I too thought it was wider than 18.5mm, but if it is so slim, then it is probably related to some of the models mentioned in this thread:

I have this racquet in my collection. I think it's 85sq. From 1986.
I think Slobodan Zivojinovic played with a similar mold.
It plays very well.
Cheers.
