im between 3.5-4.5 (self-rated according to usta chart) player and wondering if there is anyone out there in this forum that are near the Bloomington, MN locations. although snow is here but if you have lifetime membership we can play at bloomington south lifetime (over winter break since i have the student flex plan).

i never get the chance to play but nun of my friends likes tennis. i had a buddy but he moved out. im taking beginner's tennis class this semester and it's not very competitive, lol, and it's about 70min/week of play and it will be the last day in two days.

im very ambitious about the sport actually and want to improve a lot.

shoot me a message!!

3.5-4.5 is a large range. Have you played USTA before? Are you a student in high school? college? Do you play on any teams there? Other organized leagues?

I used to live in the area until this year, but am a 4.5/5.0 player (played HS and Div 3 in college) so I'm probably not who you're looking for. You may want to contact the USTA northern section if you aren't having any luck on these boards.

ouch! Bloomington, MN. I was once stuck at a friend's sister's place for a week; she was also boarding an insane woman. Creepy and scary time for old max!

Also check with Lifetime...they may have some non USTA hitting league that you might be able to get involved in. Perhaps a tennis ladder or something along those lines.

i already checked. they do but way over price for me. im waiting for the usta flex league next summer. pretty affordable and maybe some usta tourneys next year. ill start at 3.5. i'd rather have an easy win than being destroyed.

Minnesota is scary. My fiance (or as i call her, my future ex-wife) went to school there for a year or two. Drivers there are scary. And when I would visit it would either way too hot or way too cold. Thank Federer she transfered here.
