I'm a longtime 7g user and am looking to try out some more updated frames. My 7g racquets are all very old and in pretty bad shape. Naturally, I'm looking for extended length frames and I thought what better place to start looking than newer ProKennex racquets and the Ki Q+5x seems to be their most updated extra length racquet. Anyone here that's used both the 7g and this newest one tell me how it is? I've never bothered trying out the ki 5x or the q5x, etc.
Anyone here try the ProKennex Ki Q+5X Pro?

Yep. On it. Here's my take: the new frame pummels the ball even more, the easy plow just sensational, and the feel is smoother (less sandy/more graphite-y). It also has a higher swingweight so I find that I'm caught a little behind sometimes, more so than the 7G. If you can handle the higher swingweight the new stick is a positive beast. Great frame that I'd thoroughly recommend demoing. If you're a 7G guy, you'll dig it.
Thanks for the response. If I may, I noticed TW is still selling the Q5 X and the KI 5x. Have you tried those racquets and how are they comparable to the 7g and the Q+5x?

Can't help you there, unfortunately. Never tried any of the frames in between the 7G and this one. Curious myself how they compare.
