Anyone know how I could string a Head Ti S7 on a Prince Neos 1500?

Our club just got one of these in for me to string, and I'm not sure if there's an effective way to mount it on to my stringer. Thanks!

Run away and hide. It mounts the same as any other frame. However, getting the clamps into the proper places to clamp after pulling tension is an issue. You will get uneven tension on the central mains with a LO. With an eCP or DW, you have a chance to even out the tension while the string is under tension. 3¢

@esgee48 It can't mount like a normal frame because the hoop is too long for my Neos, and doing some searching it seems to require a special adapter for most 6 point mounts such as the Gamma at my club. Doesn't really matter, because as I was looking the frame over, I noticed it has a crack at the base of the throat.

Can't directly help but you are correct about requiring an adapter. My star 3 came with a bunch of adapters I didn't know, when I asked about one which is basically a metal bar that as a slight twist in it I was advised it was for this racket. Never had one to string so don't know how it works.

And here it is. As I understand.... some of these adapters might have been made by the company the guy I bought the machine from worked for. So they may be experimental or may babe been widely available. Don't know where this one falls.

Someone brought one of these into the shop I work at a number of years ago. Right off the bad, it was clear the hoop was too long for the 6 & 12 billiard posts to make contact with the frame. I re-read the manual, thinking I must have been missing something. But I didn’t see anything about adapters for giant racquets. In the end I called the customer and told them our machine wouldn’t accommodate such a large racquet.

Apparently the Gamma 8500 ELS at our club actually accommodates this racket. But as I said, I probably won't be stringing this one up, unless the customer wants to have a cracked frame strung up.

Next time you need to extend the 6/12 standards, google 'mounting extenders'. There are threads in the forums about buying them or making your own.

Your machine should have come with 5 or 6 plastic throat pieces that you use for different shaped throats. One should be a triangular shaped one. Use it. It won't actually touch the very inside of the "V" of the throat (as there isn't any), but tighten the mounting system enough to keep it from popping out when you tension it. I've strung a few of them with an Ektelon H model and never had any problem. The Neos handles longer rackets than my H did.
