Anyone know what racquet McEnroe is using here?

Yeah, but you're a rare exception. I'd buy a pair if you could get them normal retail.
I’m not the exception. If only you knew what you were talking about. Nike is selling them. They have 2 different color ways.

Normal retail just for you.

It wasn't the strongest frame. My Ghost. cracked in the shaft on a backhand return.
I kick me self for not getting a Hi-Ten.
I remember upon launch it had its own section in racket-shops, like it was a superior creation. A whole new level of hollow-ness was my recollection.

Interesting the racquet in question, sort of looks like a precursor to the 6.1 95.
The part right above the handle, the throat, and even the beam in a few of those pics.

I know it was said this wasn't a wilson, but maybe wilson bought and developed the design

It looks very Wilson to me too, but more 6.0 85/90/95 (square beam) than (Classic Beam - oval) 6.1 95.

It’s an 85 without the PWS. It had a box beam. It came out before Classic 6.1 95.

Value City was a treasure trove of discontinued European racquets. They would liquidate stocks from various manufacturers, including Volkl, Lacoste, Kneissl, Snauwaert, Rossignol, and Donnay. I bought tons of stuff there in the early 90s, such as Volkl T9-30s (several in red, but also a few in optic yellow), Donnay Pro Cynetic 1s and 2s, Snauwaert NVCs and Hi-Ten 30s, and Rossignol FT 5.80s, all for under $30 each.

Switched to a Wilson Profile 3.0 95. Played five yrs with those till pull-throughs at the throat. Stringer thought I should retire them. Nearly retired my elbow.

Yes, the player that needed a cheap racquet picked up three Rossignol FT 5.80s dirt cheap from Value City. In Columbus my bro-in-law went to Shottensteins for a shirt. Thought I would find those racquets but was so overwhelmed by the store I left. Btw, Value City had Wilson salvaged Kramers, NBA basketballs, and NFL footballs. Also remember Lendl and Edberg apparel. May still own a Lendl Adidas warm-up.

How do they feel comfort wise? I was thinking in getting a pair of OG , just for casual wear
They’re very comfortable. They are made out mesh and leather just like the originals from 1985. I was also surprised how nicely the Vapor 11 Mac Attack fit too. I wasn’t expecting much from them and they were comfortable out of the box.

Extremely out of the box comfortable..
I have the grey navy and red ones ..my only small gripe is the grey is a few shades lighter than the og og of all og - grey / white / black / green ones ..
but I must say they are pillowy soft .. maybe even more soft than the ones I had back in the late 80’s … back in the day 1989 or 90 and maybe even later I had the chlorophyll green ones and the other color way which were the exact same as the “green ones “
But red instead of the green .. the red ones were my absolute faves …..

He was talking about Max Attack not Air Trainer. Mac Attack grey/black and came in white/black. The Mac Attack came out in 1985 before the Air Trainer.
The Vapor 11 Mac Attack are very comfortable. I recommend them.
