It's not failing to fail. It's "fail better." His quote is inspiring, yours is nonsense.I miss his tattoos about failing to fail again, or whatever, and pointing to his cranium after making a smart play. His 1hbh was pretty good too. Miss Delpo more though.
Quite a high bar you must have for entertainment.Not at all. He played some good watchable tennis in a handful of matches but he wasn't too entertaining to watch outside of that.
I think you can miss seeing a peak player without unrealistically thinking that player could be peak again.If he could play at the level he did 5 years ago, I would miss him. Just like I would miss Thiem if he played at the level he did 1-2 years ago. Nothing more fun than watching them outhitting everyone else from the baseline. Sadly, I don’t think it it is realistic anymore for Wawrinka.
guy's a Raonic fan, I don't think it's the height of the bar that's the issue lolQuite a high bar you must have for entertainment.

@junior74
I did specify that its outside of his top matches, i'm not deluded enough to deny he was outstanding in those few memorable matches but he was a nobody before his few title runs and even during and after he slipped back into average territory in terms of watchable tennis. For me a watchable player is someone you enjoy watching all year round and he wasn't that player for me.
