Anyone on the horizon who is likely to beat Andy Murray’s Queen Club record?

Let's see if Alcaraz can make a start by defending his title. Only 8 players have so far defended the Queen's title in the Open Era (McEnroe, Connors, Becker, Lendl, Hewitt, Roddick, Murray, Berrettini).

from 1890 when queens club started to 2015 there were 8 men who shared the singles record of most titles at 4 championships each:- Major Ritchie, Anthony Wilding, Roy Emerson, John McEnroe, Boris Becker, Lleyton Hewitt, Andy Roddick and Andy Murray. In 2016 Andy Murray became the history leading championship winner when he won his fifth championship.

is there anyone on the horizon now who is looking likely to beat Murray’s record?

Incidentally, Murray actually has 6 titles at Queen's, the 5 singles and a doubles title he won with Lopez in 2019.

Such a useless record that nobody is bothered to chase it ? LOL

Sir Andy Murray, the accumulator of things that don't matter in tennis, most Olympic medals, most queens etc etc

Is not queens club historically the most prestigious grass title outside of Wimbledon?

You really need to sit down guys like Nadal, Murray and Djokovic and patiently explain to them that their Olympic gold medals or aspirations to win them just don't matter. I'm sure they will all be fascinated to hear this!:p

Prob is that we are in an era where only slams matter, so not sure how much queens is valued now. ATP hasn't even given it masters status... thats sad

Djokovic has a fetish, so can't convince him.
