game is gonna suck. we all know it. topspin 2 was a big step backwards from topspin 1. we can all wait for smash court tennis to come out and then VT 4. the topspin series is gone great first game and thats it. also whats with tommy haas and video games. hes been in just about every single one thats been made and that goes back to img tennis for the sega genesis.

It would be cool if you could unlock other legends... i guess you can always use the player creator. i wonder if monica seles is going to be ONE handed on both sides like Jan Michael Gambill was in the first one!

I prefer VT3 by far over Topspin 2. The player animations are much more realistic on VT3. I'll probably buy Topspin 3 but I hope they improve the player animations so every player has there own unique swing style. The legends players are ridiculous. Sampras and Agassi should have been on the legends roster.

yeah I posted in the other thread about video games, theres a petition for a better roster going around because this one is just embarassing. gasquet and I think djokovic were announced along time ago and why Nadal only on ps3?

I just hope the next smash court comes out for 360 and has a BIG roster, because so far smash court 2 for ps2 is still the best.

I think Top Spin 3 and Virtual Tennis 4 are fighting for the rights to use the players... Thats why we have such situation.

PS3 version will obviously own. Deal with it.

Much like DMC4, Burnout, Oblivion and other high profile multi platform games from now on.

They wanted someone from AU. Hewitt probably wanted too much cash. And at this stage in his career (or what's left of it) Flip will probably take anything.

yeah i'm surprised this wasn't posted when the lineup came out in feb. This is the second game Monfils is going to be in, what has he done to achieve this? They should have put players like Isner, Young, or Nishikori who are young and upcoming.

this is what the line up should be in my opinion...oh and btw the ones that said djokovic and gasquet were announced...no they never were. someone just wrote that on wikipedia...which doesn't make it true.

Federer
Nadal
Djokovic
Davydenko
Ferrer
Roddick
Nalbandian
Blake
Gasquet
Berdych
Youzhny
Hewitt
Baghdatis
Ljubicic
Murray

that's just for the men of course

Everyone needs to realize since every player is essentially his own agent, they can ask not to be in the game. This isn't like the NFL where they can just use your name without asking since you play in their league. They have to discuss with each an every individual player, and come up with different contracts for each one. It gets quite hard to do that.
