Anyone still play with the Fischer Vacuum Pro Classic Stich?

Hi!
I was wondering if anyone can tell me a little bit more about this racquet. I especially want to know what the stiffness level is, as compared to maybe a Volkl Tour 10 V-Engine mid. Please compare it to any other player's racquet.

Thanks

i havent used the VTPro90 for a long while, but i think your comparing it to the t10ve-mid is thoughtful. both are thin beamed flexy and very headlight w. good weight to them and make your own power frames w. a soft feel....i have a couple of these (t10ve-mids) in pristine condition if you are interested.

I use this racquet at the moment. I have used the yonex rd ti 50 and super rd tour 90 so i can compare to these two frames. The ti 50 is closer in terms of flex than the rd tour, the vac pro 90 is a pretty flexy stick with a very soft feel. The rd ti 50 possibly has a little less power than the fischer which has less than the rd tour IMO .
Control is excellent as it is with the yonex racquets.

It is generally thought that the fischer vac pro 90 is a unique racquet in terms of feel. it is flexy and has a very soft feel. for me it offers great control and plenty of oomph. I string mine at 53 pounds and don't suffer with any control issues.

The racquet is easy to get around yet has plenty of weight to put into shots..my two weigh approx 350g with a little lead at 3 and 9.

if you can get one it is worth trying out. it is worth mentioning that fischer grips are quite small.

great racket, second only to ps 85 for me(and i have tried A LOT). Extention of the arm allright... Also good with pretty stiff strings, actually prefer it to nat.gut. 55 lsb or lower. I dont notice the very soft feel,it is very compact and stable, but not as boardlike as ps 85(i like boardlike..)

It's the most muted racquet I've ever hit with. It's a Love It or Hate It kind of racquet, because it is so unique.

The head of the racquet is long and narrow. The head is longer than other racquet heads, and so is in effect closer to your hand, which aids control. It also means that the mains are longer in proportion to the crosses than just about any other racquet.

The only down side that I noticed was that it tended to vibrate quite a bit on balls hit at the top of the string bed (hardly the only racquet to suffer from this, though).

I just bot one used from this board, and noticed this rattling vibration when the ball hits the top hoop area. I looked so hard around frame for any cracks and couldn't find any :)

so the racket is made this way!

I am getting some supplies and will customize this baby heavily and see if I can get rid of this rattle.

I agree with Deuce - it is an extremely muted frame to hit with. I never thought of it as flexible in the same sense as some of the Voelkl's are flexible, but it certainly isn't harsh. It kind of reminded me of talking with someone while you're wearing ear muffs!

Great control frame though and good spin generation.

Vac pro 90 is definitely for an advanced player that have perfect long swing. This is a frame that I can't play with. I found it as the most difficult frame to play than the St Vincent PS, Pc600, max 200g, POG, SRD90.

Lots of control on this frame. I do not like the feel of this frame (muted), unless the user can generate lots of momentum on his/her swing.

Well, that's a rather original description... and a very accurate one, as well.

My 2 cents on the racket is you need to have very good technique and power. This racket is for people who take full swings all the time. With it small head, it rewards you with some of the most heavy balls. I can say it it is comparable to the Prince 90 comp. The only difference is the prince does not have the vibration when your off the sweet spot and it is not as muted.
