Anyone still use poly with elbow pain?

Has anyone, who has played with poly and developed TE, switched poly brands/model and your elbow pain subsided? What brand/model did you switch from and to?

I tried poly last fall and developed TE and switched back to a syn gut and gut hybrid but I would like to re-try poly. I miss the extra spin and control. Yeah, the gut is great but a little pricey. I originally played with a full poly setup using Unique Tourna Big Hitter and I would like to try a poly that won't re-aggravate the TE.

Your thoughts?

Your best bet is to hybrid it in the crosses with natural gut (or another very soft string) mains. I had a really bad case of TE... which has subsided by about 95%. Even when it was at its worst, soft poly crosses didn't irritate it too much (when strung at fairly low tension).

Also, make sure if you use the NG/poly setup... you lower the tension on both strings. Try the NG at about 45# and the poly at about 40#. It's not as loose as it may sound. The poly really stiffens the stringbed up, even at lower tensions.

Let us know how it works out :)

switched from luxilon strings (used big banger ace, original 1.30, & alu rough 16) to tecnifibre redcode 1.30 with no pain whatsoever. Some ppl complain about how stiff redcode is but it's soft compared to the luxilons above. the control is nearly the same but slightly less (the luxilons are stiffer & i think give just a slight bit more control) & the access to spin is close. Wish I could play with the luxilons still though but redcode works pretty close to me. Just my experience as I've gone through many strings trying to find something close.
